Best Western The Connaught Hotel  

The staff were friendly right from check-in. The room was lovely and the bed was very comfy.After are night out we retired to the bar and although it was nearly 12 midnight we ordered some sandwiches and they were lovely. The breakfast was very good also. We only stayed one night but we will definately book again when we are coming back to Bournemouth. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Disabled facilities in the room-on the 3rd floor? Ok in their own right, but made everything tight for space in the Bathroom. The Staff were attentive, but not friendly really.

The staff were never too busy to offer help or advice (but were always busy) I always felt as if I was important to the hotel and that made me feel special. The room was as described with a balcony overlooking the gardens. The restaurant has the most amazing food, and when I just wanted a snack the bar meals were good too. Also I used room service and this again was a good experience as some hotels make you feel guilty for using this service. Reception was a happy place to ask questions and we had some 5 star advice from the lovely people who worked there. I will stay at the great western Connaught Hotel again :-)

Typically good quality and value from Best Western.

I wish there was more parking spaces for parking my car. The number available is very limited. Fortunately I managed to find a space at 2200hrs. Which was sufficiently large to fit my Jaguar car (s type). This is the only thing that would prevent me from booking up again.

WE STAY BECAUSE WE ENJOY HOTEL FACILITIES,THE MEALS AND THE FRIENDLY STAFF.THIS IS OUR THIRD STAY.WE WILL BE RETURNING AGAIN IN THE FUTURE

The facilities were excellent and the price was very good, not much more than a travel lodge. The breakfast staff were excellent, but I didn't like queueing for a table for two when we could have easily shared with someone else. One person for example waiting ages for a table for one when there were so many spaces. In fact some people quite like to join in and chat to others, but we were not given that option..

Apart from the above - it was excellent.

We found the location good for all that we planned to do, we were able to park the car and walk everywhere which was great. The staff were all friendly and helpful and the Hotel itself was clean and presentable throughout, the facilities were suitbable for our needs. Overall we would recommend the hotel to others.

Our only 'complaint' was that it was extremely hot during breakfast and a little more air circulation would have been nice.

Good value for money. The spa and pool area were perfect for relaxing in after a day's shopping. The hotel is ideally located for the town and beach. Friendly, professional staff who were very pleased to assist.

Often stay at Best Western Hotels. This time in Bournemouth as we were seeing a concert at the Pavillion Theater. Hotel is perfectly situated and we enjoyed our stay. Staff were excellent. Breakfast was very good. a well run hotel.

A very nice, clean hotel with very friendly, efficient staff.

The Restaurant if one wanted an evening meal. Did not seem part of or belong to the hotel. Very expensive and not an attractive menu. (What do you think of sausages and mash for £14). We tried it one night but opted for "outside" on following night and fared much better.

Friendly staff, clean and pleasant environment. Great location. Good breakfast choice.

I had a superior room but the bathroom was looking tired and dated, the shower was not great - my only gripe in an otherwise excellent hotel.

Great location for walking into town and the beach, comfortable mid priced hotel, good choice for breakfast, cooked breakfast nice & hot, well served as the hotel was very busy on the weekend we stayed

Communal areas in the pool & spa need a little upgrading

the mattress's seemed a bit soft for are taste.
