The County Hotel Woodford - Greater London  

The staff at The County were very helpfull, we had a problem with the bed it was a bit soft for my husbands back immediatley our room was changed. Within 15 mins of ordering room service our food was delivered,so i will be staying at this hotel in the near future without a doubt a very good experence.

Clean, helpful staff and convenient location.

None except perhaps slight noise from a boiler.

I had difficulty understanding your staff unfortunately their english was not good so I struggled to understand what they required, I was embarrassed and I beleive they were embarrassed too, shame really as the staff other than that were a real positive to your service.

The reciprocation staff is very rude and staff don't know how to deal with costumer..

We stayed at the County Hotel, because we were meeting family the next day for a trip to Cornwall and had to have an early start. We used to live in the area and then moved to Canterbury, Kent about 6 years ago. It was very quiet and clean and would definitely stay again if the need arose. We were delighted with the room, it was very clean and comfortable and especially liked the extra large bed.

It was very noisy all night. There were teenagers/adults running up and down the corridors all night and slamming doors. We had a child with us who was trying to sleep. 5 of us stayed the night and not 1 of us slept at all well.

The room was great value for money, spacious, cosy and well equiped. Tv was modern as were the decor. Would stay here again for sure. A+

At a push this Hotel was fine for an over night crashpad for the event we were attending, but I would recommend getting ready at home first! Shower was absolutely awful, as was the oddly designed shower cubicle... With the waste overflow pipe leafing straight into the shower! Virtually No water pressure Poor lighting throughout the room made getting ready difficult - particularly doing your make-up. I would stay again if absolutely necessary but I wouldn't relish the prospect!

My first fealing was that it was a dhss hotel, used for housing homeless people by the Social Security. The two nights that I stayed there were functions that run until 1pm each night with loud music. The function rooms are on the 1st floor and I was situated on the second floor, above the function. The only choice was to stay up past 1pm to avoid the loud music. There was a young couple requesting a refund as they were also above the function room and wanted to move to another hotel, they were refused. Charging guest £6 and hour for internet usage is a ripp-off. They also tried to charge me more that the price quoted by booking.com until I complained.

Hotel was clean, comfortable and extreemly reasonable in price. Will definately stay there again

Big room and big bed. The staff was friendly.

The breakfast was a bit of a disappointment. The cooked food did not look fresh, and jam was the only alternative. The coffee came from a not so good machine.
