Vicinity to airport for 05:40 check-in without being astronomically priced. Pleasant staff.
No lift. Bed in Turnberry suite needs new mattress as you feel as though you are on the springs. Lunch still finishes at 2pm. Come on Aberdeen move with the times!
Good helpful staff. Excellent breakfast and starting early enough for ealry checkouts to enjoy - thank you
The gallery suite wing was very cold compared to the rest of the hotel, it took a long time for the room to warm up
The hotel has a more personal feel than the regular chain hotels. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was superb.
My shower was cold however this was explained by the receptionist as a problem with the boiler which was an isolated incident, it certainly woke me up!!
The staff were great - helpful and friendly. Restaurant was excellent
I was extremely impressed with the hospitality of the staff, and the traditional décor within the hotel, gave a good experience of Scottish hospitality. The quality of the breakfast was very good with plenty of choice for those customers who may not enjoy a traditional full Scottish breakfast. If I was travelling again to Aberdeen I would definitely consider staying at the Craighaar hotel again
There was very little to dislike, as I only stayed the 1 night.
Very good service from staff.
We attened a private function. The bedroom was fine although could do with an update. The library room was lovely, excellent for the function although 75% of the food let the experience down.
The breakfast was totally appalling and would not recommend it to anyone. The first waitress we had was extremely miserable and unhelpful. Surprised that they still use sheets and not duvets.
The hotel location was ideal for an early morning start at Falck Nutec - a quick 12 minute drive.
The hotel location, whilst being close to Aberdeen Airport is a bit too close to Aberdeen Heliport. Choppers taking off and landing throughout the day did not make for a relaxing afternoon.
food, wifi and price
bed, very old and uncomfortable Lack of viewing options (no sports channels)
Boutique style hotel relaxing atmosphere
a bit of airport noise
Had a connecting room and it was noisy
Everything was lovely, and the staff were all very pleasant. The breakfast was well presented, tasted lovely and service excellent.
Cannot fault this hotel in any way. Would recommend to any body who is looking for comfort, cleanliness and helpful staff
Nothing springs to mind
CLOSE TO THE AIRPORT
THE PRICE .THEY HAVE SPENT A LOT OF MONEY ON DECOR IN THE HOTEL AND ROOMS,,, RADIATORS,CURTAINS ,BATHROOM FITTINGS (FANCY TAPS AND SHOWER).THE SHOWER GETS JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING WET THE FLOOR IS SWIMMING ITS A WET ROOM BUT NOT DESIGNED RIGHT.PITY THEY DIDNT SPEND MORE ON THE BED WHICH IS TERRIBLE..WITH A QUILT COVER THAT LOOKS LIKE IT STAYS FOR EVERY OCCUPIER, AND CHEAP TEABAGS
Very efficient and helpful staff
Location Cleanliness Bathroom Fresh milk delivered to the room Lovely warm and cosy Excellent restaurant: reasonably priced Great service
The location is great. The hotel/restaurant staff provides great service. The room is thouroughly cleaned daily.Good selsction of TV channels.Unbreakable value for money ratio.
Clean rooms and bathroom. Great breakfast.
No lift. ~With 4 large suitcases plus hand luggage it was a mission getting up the stairs. No staff to assist.
Food and staff were very nice.
Bed was too hard and sheet / overblanket arrangement was a little 'dated' - when do they upgrade to quilts?
Freezing room on arrival eventually had to get a stand up heater
The hotel was warm, (as in heating), breakfarst was ok.
To noisey, no way you can sleep extra hours in the morning, helecopters fly over ever ten mins very low the bedroom tremours, and the staff you can barely understand them! the bed was made for little people. The staff could smile a little!!
Good choice of menu
Very good quality for money
Would be better if more Scottish staff
