Food varied Either Lunch or Dinner Menues, Staff couldnt do enough
Have booked again for this weekend to give it another try as i have used hotel many times and it has been refurbished since my last visit
no rest due to fitting of a new carpet in corridor room should not have been let with this work going on
Restaurant, cleanliness and the general overall facilities were all excellent. Very convenient for travelling by air to and from Aberdeen.
Aeroplane noises, particularly helicopters were very noise into late evening and early morning.
Friendliness and helpfulness of staff. Smiles all round.
Air traffic noise
Restaurant; dinner and breakfast
Hearing all noise in rooms beside and below. Hearing other's wake up calls. Paint smell in corridors with working decorator. Very expensive but that is just Aberdeen on a weekday.
Staff were friendly and kind. Breakfast was lovely. Room was nice and clean.
There's no slope for big suits case. Long corridor and some steps were not friendly for the big suits case as well.
Simple clean hotel, well-placed for our early morning flight
Food and service were excellent.
Bed was pretty hard.
contemporary reception, bar and restaurant great cooked breakfast choices - value for money (good haddock portion, although poached eggs were over cooked) quiet location friendly, polite staff
dated bedroom - although bathroom had been recently done and as lovely old bed and dated bedding
Very clean comfortable and worth the money. Nice breakfast
Aeroplanes all the time did nit sleep well all weekend
Convenience for our purpose. Spacious room with good open outlook. Breakfast good with good selection. Good shower.
Very poor water flow in wash hand basin.
the bedroom was really nice and room was comfy
shower cubical to small
Many parts of the hotel have been refurbished in a very attractive way. Excellent food. Manager and staff most helpful and accommodating. Would stay at this hotel again.
This hotel has no lift which is a big disadvantage.
Very easy to find. Staff very helpful rooms very comfortable
On the flight path of Aberdeen Airport and Helicopter Pad so very noisy in the early morning
Very friendly welcome. Comfortable rooms and fabulous bathroom with great shower. The restaurant serves the most delicious food with a wide selection so something for everyone! The breakfast was delicious, and again, there was a good selection to choose from, it certainly set us up for the day. There is a bar and you can choose to sit inside or outside with your drinks. The hotel is situated about 5/10 minutes drive from the airport and, although it is in the flight path, we were not bothered by the noise. We will not be using the airport hotels now we have found this wee gem!
Excellent breakfast, cooked to perfection.
Was only a short drive to both the city centre and the explanatory and was a very good base for going further afield e.g.. Balmoral. Plenty of parking space which was what we wanted. We had a suite and having the extra space for a 4 night stay was lovely. The food was delicious, enjoyed an afternoon tea as well as breakfast and evening meals. Breakfast menu in particular had a good range. Staff were very friendly. Yes there was noise from the airport but we knew to expect that and it was never very late or too early. Most definitely liveable.
The evening menu could be enhanced with the specials having regional dishes rather than black beanbeef with noodles. Cooked breakfast on first morning was served exceptionally quickly, didn't have time to finish my cereal.
food and service was very good. pillows very comfortable. Quite and relaxing atmosphere
location perfect for us, reception welcoming, hotel clean, shower lovely, dinner very good, husband had steak on both nights, 1 t.bone, 1 sirloin, both cooked to his likeing
breakfast was ok, on 1st morning i ordered smoked haddock with poached egg, got 2 poached eggs done perfectly, so 2nd morning ordered the same, the waiter put my plate down and said, only one poached egg today sorry, and it was like a hard boiled egg, clearly the boss man was in.
comfort cleanliness friendly staff location nice food wifi
difficult to find fault with anything
Nice friendly place with excellant food
Close to the city center
Booked a single room and thought everything was fine. I was then emailed later by the staff that my "room" was not a room, but a caravan out back. Fortunately, they had a twin room available which they offered at a discounted rate, so everything ended up working out. Be warned- if you book the single room it is not a room but a caravan!!!
The Staff are very professional, the price is very reasonable for Aberdeen.
hotel staff very pleasent, meals were varied with a good selection and tasty. grounds were very picturess. bedroom was very nice. recepionists were very friendly. all in all quite enjoyable. thanks
nearness to perth centre and the old worldly ambience off the hotel.
