The Craighaar Hotel  

The staff were helpful and attentive, and the facilities were excellent

Did not receive the breakfast that I requested .

The room was very clean and well laid out. The hotel itself was superb. Very close to the airport. The food in the restaurant was lovely.

The room was far too warm and the blind on the skylight was too thin to block out the light.

Price was good.

The rooms look as though they have had a bit of a facelift since i was there last.

Arrived at 10pm, got to room, looked ok. Went for a shower, then decided to go to bed, as soon as i pulled the covers back on the bed, got an very strong smell of body odour. Having just showered, thought, 'no way it can be me' Turned out the bedspread was absolutely stinking all along the top edge. Obviously had not been washed for some time and had had a few armpits secreting on to it. Tried to complain but no-one at the desk. In the morning, again no-one there as i was leaving at 5.30am. Have tried calling, but have yet to get an answer. Will not be back.

Beautiful evening meal cooked just right. Good location for my business trip. Staff very efficient and polite. Room neat and tidy. And a morning paper delivered to bedroom door. First class for arranging transportation. All round first class.

Modern, clean and comfortable accommodation at a very good price

The hotel was reasonably priced for the area. The bathroom was modern; the room was comfortable, ample parking spaces.

Not much choice for vegetarians on the menu. Noisy hotel at night.

Given the cost of staying at other hotels in the area it beats them hands down on food standard, room standard and guest not taken for granted that the hotel will be full the next day like the hotels that supports the oil workers that travel through nearly every day. When the oil has gone this hotel will be still standing not like the others. I stay at this hotel every 6 weeks.

Very friendly, helpful, polite and attentive staff. Clean, comfortable and quiet rooms, excellent breakfasts. Very convenient to airport. Very good value for money. Recommended.

Lighting for reading in the rooms at night bit too subdued.

Very helpful and accommodating staff.

The windows in the bedroom are desperately needing replaced as the helicopters flying overhead seem like they are in the room. Young children would not be able to sleep as the flights continue until about 10pm. The windows are completely inadequate

The redecoration and improved facilities since our last visit. The food and wine served promptly for room service was very good. The wide-awake friendly staff available during our early morning departure.

The bed was very uncomfortable and squeaked/groaned every time one of us turned or moved. I normally sleep on a firm mattress but that bed was decidedly uncomfortable.

Breakfast was charged for even though I left at 3am The room was very small The shower was small and did not work Only one socket in room so with kettle provided no where to plug in PC or phone charger

Friendly service & good restaurant.

Hard to see glass partition between bathroom entrance & shower. Could easily walk into the glass partition.

Great place to quick stop prior to travelling onwards. Had everything I required with excellent staff and facilities.

Couldnt find fault in anything. Thank you and well done. I will be back again.

The noise - you are effectively sleeping at the end of the runway. Fine if like me you can sleep through anything but the first helicopter flights start very early and don't stop all day.

This hotel is one of the best we have stayed at, cleanest rooms you would find anywhere a credit to the staff. The food including breakfast was exelent. The lounge bar has a lovely atmosphere, very relaxing and friendly. The staff are great . Although not in the city centre it is very easy to find being on rute to the airport just follow the signs for airport, 10 min by car to city centre. Will be going back to this one. We would stay here again

There was nothing to dislike about this hotel

We had a great time at this hotel the room was well thought out and so comfortable,the food in the evening was the best we have had at any hotel ,the barman in the lounge bar could not have been more friendly and welcoming. Our stay was so good that we have booked again for December with more members of our family

The only down side was a shower head that needed replacing
