Excellent,

“The Cranley is a quintessentially British experience. The Great Britain flag flying full mast at the entrance is a hint to this, but inside rooms are comfortable in a way you'd want your own home to be. I felt like I was returning home to a warm, cozy bed after a day's walking.”

The Cranley is a quintessentially British experience. The Great Britain flag flying full mast at the entrance is a hint to this, but inside rooms are comfortable in a way you'd want your own home to be. I felt like I was returning home to a warm, cozy bed after a day's walking. Minor - I would have preferred a duvet to a sheet and blanket.

Location was excellent. Two tube stations within easy walking distance. Great Indian restaurant next door. Good selection of pubs, restaurants up on the main street very close by. Could use some updating of rooms. Carpets well worn, tv too small, bed was uncomfortable

Beautiful hotel, excellent room and friendly staff. The only thing to let this hotel down was the lack of tea making facilities in the room

I liked the location and welcome we received from Morris in particular. The hotel was conveniently situated near Gloucester Road Tube Station. Although we had booked a superior double on arrival we were automatically upgraded to a four poster double. This room was spacious and we were supplied with slippers and robes. Perfect hotel as we stayed 3 nights The hotel was great and these nefatives do not detract from our stay but would have made it supreme... No tea & coffee making facilities in the room although you can call for room service you don't always want to have to pick up the phone or answer the door Maids were not as thorough with tidying away things like slippers, robes, hair dryer as they do in other hotels Bathroom grouting was grubby Tv could have been larger Clocks went forward during our stay and it would have been nice for staff to change the clock rather than us having to work it out

We had a fabulous time at The Cranley Hotel and I wished we had had a longer stay. It's a small boutique hotel near South Kensington tube station with absolutely wonderful furnishings. I'd happily stay again!!! No complaints! They were wonderfully accomodating!

We always stay at The Cranley when we come to England. This as our fourth stay. It is a small boutique hotel, elegant small lobby in a quiet location. The regular day staff concieges were very knowledgeable, but the evening (exchange students) were not as familiar with the areas of London that one would expect. I would suggest a little more study and training of the most well known places of interest in London and their location in relationship to the hotel. They were very willing, but relied too much on the internet. The regular day staff were excellent and their experience showed.

I liked the location as it seemed like a very nice area. The staff were happy to hold our bags after checking out, very polite too. We found it too old fashioned for our liking however the other person who travelled with us like that a lot. The bathroom was tiny and the armchair we had in our room was ripped in places. The snacks in the room were extremely overpriced.

We didn't stay at the Cranley as we were relocated to the Park Royal owing to a water problem. We were very impressed with the Park Royal particularly as we were given complementary breakfasts on the morning of departure as compensation for the inconvenience of relocation. We were made to feel very much at home and would recommend the hotel to friends. The only improvement would be tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Staff were excellent. The hotel was spotlessly clean and furnished to a very high standard. Very quiet location. I got the special price from Booking.com which was excellent value. No tea or coffee in the room. A tray of refreshments were available which were chargeable but it didn't say that anywhere. I would have scored this Hotel 5 across in all areas but for this

Simply everything. This is a perfect Englishman hotel. Perfect Location, perfect deco, perfect staff, perfect elegance, perfectly comfy, proper room size which is not so obvious in London, and just anything. The place made me feel like home. I love this classic English style, and it is so classic that is perfectly classy : ). Absolutely first choice when travelling to London!

The value for money of our stay was excellent and this was a quality hotel with staff being very efficient when needed and located in a nice area. To keep costs low we did not order breakfast, although were able to locate a number of options nearby. The only thing that I feel our room was lacking was tea making facilities.
