Quiet location very convenient to 3 underground lines, shopping, restaurants, and pubs. Free wi-fi in rooms and lobby. Staff polite and helpful but reserved. Getting a cup of cappuccino in the morning in the lobby costs 4.5 pounds - equivalent to us$7.50.

The Cranley Hotel is in a fantastic location. In the heart of fine resteraunts and bars. The area felt very safe. Just a short 5 minute walk away through beautifully manicured streets is the tube station. I would love to return very soon.

Our whole experience of The Cranley was one of delight. On arrival we were greeted with warmth and friendliness from your excellent Italian Manager. We sat by the fire in your charming lobby, reading and were presented with a most welcome glass of champagne. I could not recommend your hotel highly enough and will certainly be back.

Relaxed, intimate atmosphere in an elegant town house. Would have liked a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities in the room.

Very courteous staff with prompt and efficient service. Room quality and the good choice for breakfast, which is served in your room (no breakfast room in this hotel). Good location with easy access to the tube (Gloucester Road).

Most things were nothing but excellent. Great location, very helpful and friendly staff, large room, all amenities were to high standards. Internet connection was quite bad and kept breaking in the lower floor (can't testify about the rest). No real solution was offered.

Beautiful hotel with excellent staff, the room was very comfortable and a good size for London. Excellent value considering the location and quality of the hotel. The cost of room service did not offer value for money.

Great location, decent rooms, attentive staff. Sometimes the staff was almost stifling, seeming nervous about attending to me rather than just calm and helpful. Although the rooms were quiet and well insulated for sound, the headboard of my bed was exactly aligned with the headboard in the room next door, resulting in my being awoken by a "knocking sound" one morning.

The location was great - a really nice part of London, close to the tube station. Very pleasant staff. My room was in the basement. Thee room was lovely but I was woken far to early by the noise of crashing cups etc as breakfast orders were being put together next to my room. Do not accept a room in the basement unless you want an early start to your day!

The Cranley is a real find... Small, with the personal touch, the rooms are spotless and very comfortable with lovely antique furniture and decor. They are also incredibly quiet for a central London location, and perfectly sited for some fantastic shopping and dining.

It was a wonderful, relaxing stay where we were treated like special guests. The staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful but also very professional. We particularly liked the ambience of quiet luxury and attention to detail. It was like staying in a grand Victorian home. The location is perfect - a quiet, residential street but close to 2 underground stations, the museums of South Kensington and the many cafes and restaurants of Old Brompton Road. Highly recommended for either business or pleasure.

Good location. Good to see that the wifi is no charge. Very comfortable and very accomodating staff. They need either a gym or to have an association with a local gym.
