Bathroom too small

Excellent staff. All very helpful and friendly. Comfortable bed in a well appointed quiet room. Good restaurants and pubs nearby, as recommended by the front desk staff.

Room air conditioning only circulated ambient air, with no cooling effect at all. Portable air conditioning unit was brought to the room right away when we advised front desk of the problem, however, this unit's heat extraction hose did not fit the window connection properly and had to be rigged by us, in order to stay in position during the night.

Great staff, quiet neighbourhood close to tube and walking distance from shops, bars and restaurants. The perfect hotel for a real London city trip!

Personal and friendly staff. Large, comfortable, well equipped rooms in traditional British style.

Very comfortable and quiet. We were given complimentary coffee on arrival. Fresh brownies delivered to our room in the afternoon and a complimentary glass of champagne before we went out in the evening. Fabulous!

No tea and coffee making facilities in the room

Location....staff....if the Hotle met the same standards as the staff, it would be 4 stars...the people who work there are lovely and efficient and considerate..The Cranley has lost it's character and has lowered it's standards as far as keeping up the hi level of of the hotel that I fondly remember...given the price...it was not a good value and sadly has fallen into disrepair ....

Water stained shades and stained curtains...old and stained carpet in reception area...a cot which your company and the Cranley refer to as a "BED" !!!! not even fit for camping....a cheap foam "mattress" on a cheap uncomfortable frame....absolutely disguesting ....and should not be in a camp ground let alone an "upscale" hotel.....

The hotel is beautiful, the staff make you feel really special and great value for money.

The cleanliness and comfort

Lack of complimentary tea and coffee making facilities in room, which is standard in even the most budget of hotels, when I asked about this I was made to feel very uncomfortable as the answer was very evasive, however a kettle was sent up to our room but no cups coffee, tea, milk or sugar. This facility was advertised as standard on the website

Overall ambience; staff; breakfast was good

The room we stayed in was nice but definitely on the "shabby" side of the "shabby chic" spectrum. Paint on the windowsill was peeling badly, and there was a lot of rust on the shower screen edge which I really don't expect in that standard of hotel. Also the room was incredibly hot, despite us having the window open all night, so wasn't in fact that comfortable a stay.

Location and atmosphere is great. Very british with a superb service.

We did not think it particularly good value for money and the breakfast scene was not comfortable. The desk/ receptionist staff were very good but breakfast servers mediocre. Location excellent which explains the price.

Typical to all London boutique hotels: very few elevators! But the staff is very ready to help you bring your luggage up or down, which I like.

The Cranely is a true find! So much so that I want to keep it to myself... But the superior accommodations, excellent staff that went to no end to make our stay memorable (securing front row center tickets to beyond sold out, sought after play) comfortable (whatever / whenever we needed anything) and easy (directions / reservations to all top restaurants - points of interest)... I must sing their praises!! Nothing like I've ever experienced in London!!

The breakfast was quite poor, not at all up to the expectations risen by the rest. They charged extra daily, for the continental breakfast, supposed to be included when booking our rooms. Poor conformity between booking and billing, a bit more expensive than actually expected.

The Cranley was actually what we were looking for. Luxury but not with a big hotel feel. The staff was so helpful the entire stay. What ever we needed was attended to immediately. The Cranley Hotel made our trip perfect. Thanks everyone.

Booking.com advertised The Cranley Hotel perfectly. I was very skeptical getting the King Executive Suite for such a great deal. I thought for sure there was some kind of a catch. But NO...It was exactly what they advertised, and when we arrived it was even better. No complaints at all. Thank you Booking.com

Very friendly staff. Quiet location near the museums in Kensington. Was offered a complementary glass of Champagne on arrival. Free paper in the morning.

The staff were both welcoming and attentive throughout the stay. The decor and furnishings were tasteful.

Breakfast prices were a little expensive for what was offered.

The rooms were large, clean and well maintained and the décor was typical British. The location made us feel at home and only a 5 minute walk to a well-connected tube station. We loved the free champagne and canapés in the evening.

Our room was located in the semi-basement and this created a great inconvenience at night and early in the morning due to the creaking floors whenever guests or staff walked around the lobby area. Having an evening flight, we would have appreciated more flexibility on a late checkout.

Poor value, expected larger room with more facilities (E.G. kettle & tea). Continental breakfast was just toast, pretty poor for 10 pounds.

Friendliness and very welcoming.

It was very welcoming and had a great atmosphere more like a club than a hotel. It truly exceed our expectations the room was beautiful, high ceilings, refined decor, great beds and linen. Although no restaurant good room service.

very nice hotel, lovely decor, nice sized room, staff went out of their way to make me feel welcome. will definitely stay there again.
