close to restaurants and shops walking distance to buses and underground station yet in a quiet resedential area. the hotel is family run and the staff were very friendly and informative . the full english breakfast was excellent and well worth the £7 .50 p charge we were attending the football match at wembley stadium it was well placed for that and because the hotel was north of wembley we had a head start on the rest of the travellers and were home 2 hours before the rest!

I had booked the small double room, but the manager Kamal gave me a free upgrade to the family suit, this room was very spacious and quiet at night. I was very happy with my stay here for 6 days. Very clean room and comfortable bed the shower was very powerful with endless hot water, The staff were very friendly and helpful, Very good location to the shopping and restaurants and transport links, Overall experience was excellent and will stay there again in the future. Was fully booked when I tried to extend my stay.

It is very basic, but the staff are friendly and the room clean and tidy with everything you require in it. Location is great for Wembley Stadium (the reason we stayed) - Excellent budget hotel.

Hotel owner was really friendly and approachable, room was clean and tidy, very comfy bed, it was easy to find with Sat Nav and very close to local amenities and Harrow-on-the-Hill tube station. Also very good Wifi access and tv channels. Felt safe as as solo female traveler :) Shower was extremely loud

The Crescent Hotel is a very comfortable 'bed & breakfast' style Hotel in the centre of Harrow. Situated in a quiet neighbourhood within walking distance of local amenities, shops, restaurants and rail/bus stops. The single room was small, but clean and cosy with a modern en- suite bathroom - well worth the extra £10. For a single traveler on a budget this is ideal. Recommended. The gentleman who greeted me on arrival was a little unwelcoming.

We needed to stay in Harrow to visit family and it suited perfectly because it was quiet, off the town centre but within 5 mins walking distance. A big double room, very clean with bathroom en suite tea/coffee making, fridge and colour tv. Also it was during the very cold spell in mid Feb 2012 and the room was very well heated. Also the owner Kamal couldn't be more helpful in locating every local landmark. Last but not least the price was also reasonable and the tube station was only 5 mins away straight into London centre. All in all a very nice place to stay.

Good location to where I was visiting. Easy to get to. Cheap basic accomodation. Comfortable. You get what you pay for and this is reflected in the Hotel. Different pages on their web pages tel you different things. Breakfast is mentioned on the main web page but doesnt say that this is excluded from the price, one web page says breakfast is £5-00, another page says it is £7-50. On arrival I asked what the dining arrangements were and was told in no uncertain terms 'No Breakfast, it is room only' I assumed that the Hotel no longer did breakfast and so was surprised to see a menu in my room and on exiting the Hotel I saws the dining room. I was prepared to pay for breakfast and this was my reason for asking about dining arrangements. I really couldnt be bothered to persue it.

We were very disappointed with this hotel. We were situated in a room right at the top of the hotel/guesthouse. There was a terrible smell of damp in the whole hotel and the general cleanliness was of a poor standard. The bed was large but uncomfortable and the bathroom not as clean as we expected. This hotel really should be renamed a guesthouse for backpackers. We would not recommend this hotel to anyone and would never return! The staff were pleasant enough but the hotel was dated, dirty and smelt terrible!!!!

Harrow is a friendly and cosy suburban part of greater London. We felt safe and comfortable, it was great to get there back after the days in central London. The room was big enough and clean, we loved it.

The staff were kind, helpful and expecting me. I really wanted a place near a meeting and a bed for the night. The room was clean and warm. Ideal for my needs. I was given a double room which was good of them. The single room would not have been as good value for money. The Wifi could be upgraded but it works for a bed and go offering.

Stayed at the hotel at the weekend. The hotel is located less than 5 minutes’ walk from Harrow on the Hill. Check in and out are very convenient. Check in can be done even past midnight and check out is at 11AM. Our room a small double en-suite was comfortable and acceptably clean although cleanliness may be improved together with the room décor. The toilet / shower room was modern and clean and included basin and shower soap although not a shower cap (which you may need as the shower head is fixed). Staff are the selling point. The 2 gentlemen that welcome me were warm and friendly and so was the lady that helped us with internet access in the morning. I would definitely recommend and return.

Kamal was very honest and polite fellow who managed our stay. Our room was clean tidy and the hotel is in a quit safe area with free parking at the front of the hotel. I would stay here again if in the Harrow area. Room 203 was were we stayed and had own shower toilet etc faultless room service and price.
