The Croft Guest House  

The owner was very friendly and the rooms clean and comfortable. I can't speak for other rooms, but ours was large and the bathroom had two sinks. Breakfast was excellent.

Everything, there was nothing we could fault. Breakfast was amazing-so much choice. The landlord was friendly but not overbearing. The room was fantastic, bed was so comfy and the bathroom was stunning. Overall AMAZING-would definately stay again.

Everything....I Would definately stay there again.

Near to the Shakespeare Theatre

Very friendly and helpful. Readily accommodated our need to arrive and depart a little outside the norm due to commitments. Good parking facilities with easy walk to town.

So close to all Stratford upon Avon had to offer, on site free car parking, a good breakfast with good bacon and the best cooked eggs we have had for a long time. Room 7 had a very swish bathroom, was quiet (though the bed creaked a bit) warm and cosy. Kevin was cheerful and most helpful with good suggestions for the locality yet not in your face. All above and a fair price too.

Staff were very friendly & helpful, was great to stay there, the only thing that was slightly wrong was the breakfasts were a bit muddled! My husband had bacon. & sausage I didn't but got half a plate of beans! But what we had was really nice and would love to go back again!

Nice and warm clean and cosy. Owner very obliging and helpful. Perfect location very central. Food very nice and excellent choice of hot drinks (coffee from top quality drinks machine with several choices) and good range of teas (also top quality brands), plenty of fruit/cereal/toast etc for breakfast as well as cooked breakfast. Very nice stay, would come again. Good value for money.

Bed a little hard and uncomfortable, would perhaps benefit from a mattress topper, but that in itself didnt affect us particularly as we were both well sedated with alcohol! Everything else perfect.

The reason for the trip was to go to the rsc to see Taming of the Shrew. The Croft was literally a 5 minute walk away. Kevin, the owner was very welcoming and a fount of knowledge. Having access to free parking was a bonus, and Kevin kindly allowed us to leave our car there the next day, while we had a stroll around the town. The room was very comfortable, clean and a pleasant temperature - some can be so hot. The full breakfast included in the price was very nice and all in all an very good venue for a theatre trip. Would definitely go again.

The refurbished bathroom was very impressive, but found the modern wash basin a bit too gimmicky!!

Convenient location; value for money; friendly host.

We loved everything about the Croft, it was so welcoming and the owner Kevin was very nice... The room (we booked deluxe double) was exceptional it was immaculate and beautiful, the bathroom was amazing.. The impressive shower had its own lights which change colour (very romantic/relaxing)... The bed was very comfy with good quality sheets and pillows.. The furniture is amazing the wardrobe was gorgeous...infact the whole place is just brilliant.... Full English breakfast in the morning along with cereal, pastry and fruit... choice of tea, coffee and fruit juice... was really nice, the owner has thought of everything here an i honestly dont think he could improve it!!! Its in a brilliant location.... 5 mins walk into town! :) We will definatley become regular visitors to the Croft!
