The owner of the guest house was very pleasant and gave us helpful advice about finding our way about Stratford. We had a very comfortable stay. Lovely big bathroom!
Very dusty in communal areas and in bedrooms
Warm comfortable guest house with very helpful host. Extremely close to town but still quiet.
The Croft Guest House provided the homely stay during my Stratford visit. The en-suite with its steamy power shower was better than some of the 4-star hotels I've stayed at! Location was perfect: 5min walk over the bridge to my conference venue (lovely stroll to start the morning & end the day), 10min walk from RSC and town, under 10min taxi journey from the station. The host accommodated my breakfast needs (times, dietary requirements, ambient peace). Wi-Fi signal good.
Bed a little creaky, otherwise comfortable enough
Good breakfast. Nice size room, pleasant owner
Now looking a bit tired
Location Breakfast Funky Shower!
Very comfortable accommodation within walking distance of shops, theatre, pubs, restaurants and places of historic interest. Well equipped rooms and excellent breakfast to set you up for the day.
Location was great . Breakfast was lovely plenty of it and good selection. Quiet room at the back of property (room 4 ) so no road traffic noise. Kevin was polite and helpful . Wifi free .
Parking free but small parking spaces struggled to get car at front of property had to climb out passenger side, off busy main road. Cleanliness ...dusty in places and behind bathroom door hair and fluff!! From previous occupants !! Tired looking paint work and a musty smell when you walked into hall.
Breakfasts / location / quality of bed and linen / friendliness.
nothing! It was all good.
Really near the theatre and centre of town. Room was lovely and bathroom very modern. Very good breakfast and excellent service. Would definitely stay here again.
Friendly service, excellent bedroom bathroom and breakfast and short walking distance to town.
Having to walk up 3 flights of stairs with suitcases also parking very cramped.
Location Service/friendliness Size of room Good choice of breakfast Very nicely decorated room very posh shower room
Very small shower room wash basin under chin when using toilet
location, breakfast, room all good. would recommend the croft to any one.
nothing to put
Photos very accurate. I had the lovely first floor room. My son a nice room up. Owner was very gracious & helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Close to everything. We walked everywhere & were close to theater. Great choice. C
Loved everything. Well I did have a spider in my shower but its England.
as described, good choice of breakfast, parking, close to centre, excellent service clean; a good set up excellent host, little treats to top it off
could do with re decorate in some areas
Very large bedroom with some interesting antique furniture. Nice lounge area. Pleasant rear garden. Excellent breakfast. Fast wifi.
Bathroom like a broom closet. Not even room for a toilet roll holder! No soap holder in shower. Manager appeared bored at times but helpful and pleasant at other times. Location is central but streetscape is unattractive. Place needs a coat of paint internally-too many scrape marks, etc on walls. Carpet is due for replacement. Very large bedroom makes up for a lot of faults though.
Excellent location for sightseeing in Stratford Friendly owner and a very comfortable stay, excellent breakfast
Location Breakfast En-suite WiFi
lots of dust on things top of mirrors etc
Comfortable big bed Spacious room and bathroom Good to have free parking - although the spaces are very small. Convenient location.
Room a little rickety - door with bits broken of it, wonky toilet seat and erratic flush, wobbling lock on door, surfaces not as clean as expected. Breakfast was fairly sparse and only available so short time. Loud music clashing with a loud TV in the breakfast room made it an unpleasant atmosphere. Staff seemed reluctant to help - anything beyond the very basic seemed a lot of trouble. Very different from the B&B stays I have enjoyed elsewhere.
The combination of ultra modern bathroom and old world charm made our stay comfortable and relaxing. The delicious fresh fruit and cooked breakfast were perfect. The owner was kind and charming and the location within easy walking distance to the centre.
Breakfast was excellent
Room we had was quite dusty
Fantastic as always!!! Close to theatre and town centre, excellent breakfast, free parking, spotless room, luxurious bathroom and a very friendly host!
The headline says it all really. The breakfast was nice enough and overall it's a great value place to stay. The owner was incredibly helpful and very attentive. Even going so far as to replace a bottle of wine that we left in our room with a note saying he had put it in the fridge and left some wine glasses with it for us.
Close to attractions. Towels & bedding spotless. Dining room very pleasant. Breakfast good
Thickness of dust everywhere. Lampshades mirrors & furniture had a thickness of white dust which didn't appear in a week!! As you came down stairs dust stared you in the face also not sure when strairs had been cleaned last.all in all NO return.
