Sehr gut ist die Optik. Super Räume mit Klasse Flair. Frühstück mit super Auswahl (Kalt und warm).

Die Klimaanlage liegt in einem Innhof. Diese läuft täglich von 7 bis 22 Uhr. Wer dort ein Zimmer hat und früh schlafen möchte hat ein Problem.

lost a bag, spoke to staff via telephone who appeared abrupt and unhelpful. after speaking to senior staff my details were taken and i was contacted when bag found. bag posted to me and received the next day.

Very relaxed environment and everyone on the staff was very accommodating for the young baby in our party. There was no problem taking her into the restaurant.

Very Very noisey rooms directly over function suite where weddings etc are held it would be a better idea to give the guests at these functions these rooms or at least inform people when booking about the noise which went on until 1am Hardly a relaxing stay

One of the rooms was cold due to it being at the end of the corridor on an outside wall and the radiator was not big enough to heat the space. The other room was overly hot. Breakfast was a bit disappointing - only 2 teabags used in a pot of tea for 5 people, no toast until requested, cooked breakfast meagre portions.

The building itself was nice.

Wedding on in hotel and the noise was unreal eventhough told at check in it would be minor. Fire alarm went off twice and was exacuated from hotel and left outside. Breakfast was cold eventhough i was first down at start time.

The hotel was vey impressive from the outside and did not dissapoint once inside, would deffinately use the hotel again

The staff were lovely although one in particular was not efficient.

I think the Crown is 'resting on its Laurels' ie. past grandeur. Rather shabby now particularly for its location. We expect more these days. There should be provision for smokers too. I encountered disgruntled smokers standing in the rain outside entrances. Not a good advert for you.

The size of the hotel was deceptive, seemed smaller and more intimate. The room was clean and tidy, shame about the dated wardrobe, bathroom was lovely and sympathetically decorated. Continental breakfast was great with plenty of choice of fresh pastries. Lovely staff, beautiful communal areas. Very convenient for the town, shame not more parking available. Will be back for a weekend break with my partner.

The cooked breakfast was disappointing, no choice of egg, rubber scrambled eggs and undercooked(for my taste) bacon. Room was quite hot in November, and I feel the cold!

Cleanliness, comfort and exceptional quality of food.

Very spacious room with large bathroom . Comfy beds. Wide selection of food at breakfast. Spacious breakfast room. excellent location for town centre and rail/bus stations.

chest of draws would have been nice for underwear /small items etc. Extra shelving in the bathroom for toiletries etc. Wider selection of food and prices in the restaurant . Parking got a bit difficult at the weekend, when the hotel was fully booked.
