The single bed I had was so comfortable I didn't want to get out of it! I booked at the crown because of the price, location, and because I could park at the hotel. However when I arrived I was told the parking was now full so I had to park 10 mins away. I was very annoyed about this as I was going to be back late to the hotel (1.30am) and did not like having to walk on my own that late at night. I think you should advertise that there is limited parking.

Good location, but poor parking facilities, I requested a disabled space during my stay and was promised one, on returning from a trip I found that it had been taken by someone else and was informed by staff they could not guarantee it for my entire stay which was not a lot of use as parking is very limited anyway.

Excellent breakfasts. Clean and comfortable room. Good location in attractive part of harrogate Boring colours in corridors and rooms. Very limited on site parking

Very convenient for visiting the city centre. The parking of the car was a problem, and my husband cannot walk without the aid of 2 walking sticks, disabled parking very limited only 4 spaces allocated.You have to park on the streets around the hotel when car park spaces are full

Nice period features and very well located for going in to Harrogate town centre to do some shopping/site seeing. The two 3 course meals for £39 was really nice and the waiter staff were good. Also nice wine to go with the meal which is included in the price. The rooms were not to a good standard especially for paying nearly £150 for one night. I have stayed in better Holiday Inns for a lot cheaper. If the rooms were half the price then this would have been a like topic not a dislike topic as this would have been a more true reflection for 'pay for what you get'.

good food and room service Too many steps in the corridors, and gross shortage of car parking space. Due to my wife's walking difficulty, I requested a room with no steps to get to it. This was not available.

A pleasant large room, simply furnished, with huge bay window facing road. Excellent position near gardens, spa facilities, shops and restaurants.Very quiet, despite busy scene outside. Good welcome and service in bistro restaurant with good food. First class breakfast. Room cleaning thorough and efficient. No complaints - I enjoyed my stay. I was surprised about limited TV choice - I could not get SKY or BBC 4.

Central postion, staff very helpful and friendly,breakfast very good Car parking was poor,nor enough space bathroom lacked ventulation when using shower,no heating in bathroom and no shelf space in bathroom. Bedroom floor very squeaky,

Great location in the centre of Harrogate and near the conference centre. Has a faded grandeur. Rooms are large and well equipped. Floorboards can be creaky so I recommend going for top floor room

Beautiful hotel with wonderful original features. Very clean and tidy. Buffet breakfasts were fab with an excellent range to suit all tastes. Breakfast staff lovely and friendly :-) When they say limited parking they mean that the hotel has about 200 rooms and about 20-30 car parking spaces available. Don't expect to be able to park at the hotel! Pay and display parking close by but it costs £11 for 24 hours. Failing that you're faced with a walk through the park and parking your car about half a mile away on the side of the road.

Location in the city center. Food was excellant and hotel was very grand. Harrogate itself a lovely place with pleanty shops, bars and charactor. Parking is a big issue for this hotel. No where near enough. It would benefit from advertising that street parking is necessary and put street maps on there web site and emails when booking and treat this as an adventure. Also, explaining the one way system around the hotel. It would then be expected and not a disappointment.
