Very central for shops and restaurants. Lovely interior - very atmospheric. Particularly liked the foyer and restaurant. Our room large and well equipped - large bathroom also. Staff pleasant and helpful, despite it being a very busy weekend when we stayed. This was booked as a birthday treat, but I would definitely not need an excuse to return in the near future! No complaints - everything was great. |

enjoyed a nights stay in the executive suite, was absolutely amazing a wonderful experience, staff very friendly and helpful and every aspect of hotel was excellent couldnt be faulted in any way. Arrived early so was able to park. Highly recommend the hotel. |

Executive suite was available through booking.com at less than half of their asking price Hot water too a while to heat up as our room was a long way from the boiler. It did eventually work though. |

Our twin room was very spacious. Good quality linen and towels. Decent mugs. Excellent buffet breakfast with wide choice ; ample fresh fruit. Great location for Pump room Museum, gardens, Montpellier shops, Bettys. Some noise from club bar aross the road - not music, just rowdiness.Would affect any hotel near the centre. |

Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable room. Good shower. Newspaper arrived good and early. All in all a good traditional and slightly old-fashioned (which is a good thing) hotel. The Place restaurant is really very ordinary: dull food, slow service. It's not of the same class as the rest of the hotel's facilities. |

Breakfast was good, room comfortable and clean. Very spacious and in a good location. The room I was given was not as I booked. I booked an Executive Suite for £20, but was given a regular suite - this was not the room I booked. The lady on reception explained that this was becuase the website shouldn't have allowed me to book an Executive Suite for that price - but that isn't really my problem, is it? If you book something - you should receive it - regardless of the amount you paid. Parking was also limited, but not really an issue. |
