Just 25 miles from London and 20 minutes from Heathrow lies a resort ranked as "one of the best luxury family hotels"- The Times.
Score from 298 reviews Excellent
The staff and facilities were very good and the food was of a high standard.
Despite being a Motorcyclist of many years the recurrent sounds of the ones just outside my room were begining to get on my nerves. If staff I would recommend advising on them walking the bikes to the main access before starting up.
Room 502 had a huge pole running from the floor to the ceiling in the middle of the bedroom. Nothing mentioned about that when booking. Think that needs to be reviewed and the price of the room reduced accordingly. We paid for a superior double room and did not expect that. However, as we only stayed one night we did not complain although my husband did mention it to the receptionist on checking out.
Staff & facilities were great, breakfast was lovely. Would highly recommend
Warm and friendly reception, lovely room. Breakfast cooked choice was excellent.
Continental breakfast choice limited
Band in bar food, had a lovely night .
Staff nice & friendly.
Stayed for two nights, breakfast on the first morning cooked & served to you. On Saturday it was served buffet style, food not hot enough.
Friendliness of staff & readiness to help.Quiet & convenient location with character preserved.
The room was clean but shabby - damaged loo seat hooks missing in bathroom. Breakfast was very good but table was not cleared & reset before we ate.
Everything at the Hotel is perfect for my needs.
good location. Busy bar but if you are in the annex then there is no noise issues.
rooms looked recently refurbished butt here were signs of water leaks on the roof.
Superior room spacious and bathroom good. Good shower and clean. Youngsters best bitter good. New decor. Parking free and lots of it.
Price of beer and wine. Breakfast beans served in container COLD? Staff took opened milk from one finished breakfast table, and gave it us us. Serving finishes at 09.30 hrs and staff started to clear away before this time. Bread for toasting was put into plastic bags by staff handling bread without any hygiene care. reception not welcoming, nor in the restaurant. Staff generally gave the impression that they did not like their work. Wifi required login far too often. Far too expensive would not recommend.
everything easy and accessible
band on too late was that a fried egg?
Excellent staff and hospitality Good clean and decent place to stay if you are looking for a reasonable and economical stay
by car easy access to motor way into and away from London.Main line station with in easy walking distance. Easy bus ride from Hearthrow airport, change at Staines all in all about 40 minutes.Great pub atmosphere, bar food and a great restaurant. heated out side seating for smokers plus a big television for the football
Not a lot in Chertsey but a nice place to stroll around.
Breakfast fruit choice poor and Bacon awful
Convenient for Heathrow if you have a car.
Stayed on a Saturday night and my room was directly adjacent the main town centre and there as a rock band in the Crown Pub that evening. Am sure other days are a little quieter.
Excellent breakfast, especially the "just out of the oven" wholemeal bread for toast. Attention of staff was excellent and I was treated really well.
The room was cosy and quiet, despite a live band in the pub, I didn't hear a thing! Coffee and tea facilities were much appreciated on arrival and the cleanliness of the room and bathroom was superb. Loved it - wished I was staying longer!
The bar had a good vibe with lots of variety on the menu
The toilet in my room didn't flush properly which was annoying
Good location for Surrey and Berkshire, nice large pub/bar area.
The hotel is well located and within 20 minutes of the railway station. there is plenty of parking in a secure car park behind the hotel. Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious, and the bed was comfortable.
I had specifically asked for a quiet room, but was put on the ground floor next to the car park, so was kept awake with car doors slamming till 11.30pm. In my room the heater didn't work (eventually they brought me a portable one), the desk was too wobbly to use (it was replaced) and one of the bulbs had gone in the desk light (again it was replaced). Only minor things, but I shouldn't have had to point them out. At breakfast it took 25 minutes for them to get me a bacon sandwich, which I then didn't have time to eat, as I had a train to catch. The evening meal food was good, but the restaurant was very noisy, as it is right next to a busy bar.
Situation, atmosphere, staff
nice hotel rooms, food reasonably priced.
Staff were very friendly and prompt and room was really nice.
Parking was a major issue and couldn't park anywhere in the car park. Had to park in sainsburys so less secure. Room faced on to the outside area of the bar/restaurant felt bit uncomfortable people could see in unless curtains were shut.
Staff were very friendly. Room was comfortable and clean, made up each day we were there. Room had much needed tea and coffee facilities. Bathroom had bath and shower.
Restaurant was a little pricey for what we got but, food was hot and tasty. TV remote required us to stand in front of tv to change channel.
There was nothing not to like.
Not being able to stay for another night.
