Very very good standard of Hotel. We planned to eat in town but decided to eat in the brasserie for our two night stay. The standard of food was first class. The service was friendly and quick. The decor was excellent and could not fault the comfort of the Hotel. I would recomend this stay to anyone, fantastic value. 9 out of 10 only 1 point from perfection because the room was smaller than expected but excellent value and very clean.

I love staying at this hotel. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, and courteous at the same time. As a regular customer, they always give me a great room. The Art Deco design is delightful, while each room has an individual character. It is always impeccably clean and comfortable. The hot and cold buffet breakfast is a great start to the day. The location on the East Cliff top is perfect, with a view of both piers, fantastic sunrises and the moon's reflection over the sea. It is a near as possible to a home away from home, and yet the booking.com prices are very reasonable.

The staff were very friendly when we arrived which made us feel welcome. The location of the hotel is good as two minutea from the beach and ten minutes from the town. The outside pool looked lovely, we didn't use it as a little cold! The bar area was great and looked lovely.

Bedroom was a superior room. There was a constant knocking in the room all night long, keeping us awake both nights of our stay. The drain pipe for the above room was disconnected so the waste from the shower in the above room ran onto our balcony area. The waste from our shower came up in our sink aswell. All three days we were there, there was no room in the carpark so we had to pay to park along the front each day. I felt the price was very expensive for the room which was badly decorated with a stain on ceiling, leaking radiator in bathroom and wallpaper coming from the wall. The downstair facilities were fine and the food was good.

Nice big room with balcony and sun terrace overlooking the sea. Friendly and efficient staff. Would have liked a walk-in shower rather than over bath. A bit pricy compared to similar hotels. Expected something a bit more special

Staff was friendly and not lazy to give additional info when asked. The drinks in the bar were prepared with loving attention and care, the food was excellent, the relaxed feeling was to die for and the exhibition that run at the time of our visit was refreshing as we were not aware of the importance that the Turkish community played in the area. The fact that the fresh bedding was placed on the carpet in front of the bedrooms, only to go from the carpet on the beds. It made us think that this should be avoided and maybe special bedding bags should be used for the fresh bedding to be left in the front of the rooms to be changed. Not enough fruit/berry options at breakfast. Coffee, expresso or cappuccino should be an option without the additional charge. Whilst I specified that I need gluten free bread I was not offered any. What is the point in asking the name and room number if there are no special room requirements registered by your name/ the room was cold and we had to request additional heater! This was, however provided almost immediately!

Excellent decor. Cleanliness excellent. Excellent breakfast Couldn't sleep due to banging of doors we were kept awake and subsequently felt tired all day the next day. Doors need reviewing to somehow cushion the impact of people closing them. We have stayed in other hotels that are much quieter.

The hotel is in an excellent position with a very high standard of hotel facilities. The staff are very attentive and offer excellent customer services. Best hotel I have ever stayed in , I have stayed 4 times recently and will book again. There was nothing about the hotel I did not like only the parking

Without exception the staff were excellent At meal times, there was a good choice of food which was well presented. We thoroughly enjoyed all the meals. The lift was totally inadequate for the size of the hotel as it was used by both guests and staff. The floorboards in the rooms creaked and we werte very concious when the people in the room above moved around, especially late at night.

Very warm welcome by staff, extremely friendly and helpful. Room clean, bed comfy, bathroom clean, good size, plenty of towels.Breakfast staff, very polite and helpful, very good service. Plenty of choice of bars, breakfast choice. Decoration clean, nice style. Overall, very nice stay, opposite sea, so nice for a walk along the coast line, would recommend to family, friends and users of the University. I have stayed in several hotels in the area and this is the best bye far the best, will certainly visit again myself when visiting the area. Rooms decorated nicely for function so seems nice for business and family functions too. Car park a bit small, but was able to get a space with help of staff.

A freindly hotel with excellent staff and service including food prepared to a high standard. Due to poor room sound proofing the noise from the room above spoilt what was a quality hotel.

A truly excellent hotel at a bargain price. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were immaculate. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation. The only problem is parking is scarce. Luckily there are two sister hotels next door which allow you to use their car park free of charge.

Throughout the stay the staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was excellent, food superb. The proximity to the BIC was a bonus. The only down side was the car park was very congested. But overall a very enjoyable stay and would definitely choose the hotel again only problem was parking

The hotel was nicely decorated and overlooking the sea, my room was very clean. The breakfast was good and there was a good choice and plenty of it. Maybe a little too far from th Town Centre, but for some people that might be a positive, it was still only a 10 - 15 minute walk

Loved all of the Deco stuff My room (123) was directly above the rear access of the kitchen and the staff would go out there for a smoke with some very colourful language, very noisy. At 0420 hrs I was woken by the kitchen staff starting work.Never book a room at the rear of the hotel.
