sea view and boutique style - reminded us of hotel stayed in in Miami's Ocean Drive Lift old fashioned and corridors in need of redecoration. Food could be improved eg skate was overcooked and steak grisly and not best quality |

The reception areas, bar and dining areas were good. Breakfasts were excellent. We only had one evening meal, which was a set price three course dinner, and we enjoyed it very much. There was no extractor fan in the bathroom, and no blind to the bathroom window. The bed was effectively two 3 foot mattresses put together, and the bottom sheet was not really large enough to cover this, consequently we found the sheet becoming untucked and we were lying on the mattress. Also, no bedside lights meant that if one person wanted to read in bed they had to have the main light on. Finally, the lift only took 3 people at a time, which is very small for such a large hotel. We were on the fourth floor and frequently had to walk up four flights of stairs. |

Liked the decor of the hotel and the location was fantastic for visiting the beach and also to go into town. Waitress for breakfast was particularly miserable. Would of been nice to be greated with a smile!!! Cups were dirty too!!! |

The room my husband and I had was good with seaviews. However our friends stayed in a room on the same floor without a seaview and were kept awake all night by the heating pipes. |

I thought the location was very lovely, and I liked the design of the bars and restaurants. The breakfast was of a good standard, and we were serviced quickly. I felt the room that we that we had been given, was nicely decorated but poorly executed. There were several things that did not work in our room, lights and the TV, putting in some sort of air conditioning would be a good addition as the room was very stuffy and hot. But overall the hotel offered good value for money, but I would not pay more for the room, particularly, but the hotel was of a much higher standard. Unable to park the car, and had to make sure we were up and out by 9am in order to move the car if necessary |

An elegant hotel with a touch of class, overlooking the sea. I had a superb sea-view and balcony, at a very reasonable price. Comfortable, clean and spacious room. Good breakfast, Courteous, helpful staff. A short walk into town. Free private parking. Everything was fine. |

I had to change rooms twice because of the plumbing. In both rooms it took 10 minutes running the water before it reached luke warm. They even had the audacity to have stickers in the bathroom saying, 'water is precious, please don't waste it'. The staff at checkout were discourteous. |

The location and its own parking. Noisey evenings due to events and noisy quests. Staff didnt ask if we had an enjoyable stay at the time of booking out. Room lights failed. LH dressing table draw stuck. Bath plug chain to short to reach bath plug hole. Room cold. |

The decor in reception area and bar area is very nice. Staff mainly friendly. Parking was two hotels down due to the car park being full. |

big spacious room, and big balcony. Bed was comfortable, Although it had been refurbished the decor underneath was still very tatty. Bathroom was fron the 70's, inside the cupboards was dirty and unpainted. Could hear the guests upstairs as thought they were in the same room. |

We were very happy with the service and quality of food. Early bird evening meal 2 for 1 between 5.30 and 6.30 was very good value and company made it even better. Did not like black table cloths. |

The decor was good and interesting in summer the outside pool deck would be excellent. Lounge area comfortable and inviting. Extremely disappointed that TV was restricted to 5 basic channels and there was no remote control. Sky channels should be available in all hotels these days.Food could have been warmer. |

The design of the hotel is great, that's what decided us to book a room in this hotel and we were not disappointed. Staff, Breakfast and Location were good. The big no no, is that you can't sleep!. There was water dripping all night from somewhere. The bedroom above us had a very noisy floor and unfortunately the guy slept walk all night, but with a "normal" floor it would not have been a problem. And last but not least the insulation with the next door room was poor. We could hear clearly which tv channel the guy was watching. It did not bother us but our tv had only 3 channels available, though is someone wants to watch tv during his stay. We went back home more tired than when we arrived. Not great for a relaxing weekend. Or avoid room 102. |

Very pleasant staff - mostly East European. Breakfast was good, as was the meal we ate in the Brasserie. Slightly unpleasant smell in the foyer which seemed persistent during our short stay. Also hotel is not in "Luxury" category but then it does not claim to! |

The Hotel is ideally situated right on the sea front and within walking distance of the town centre. The facilities on the ground floor are good. Like most British seaside hotels the bedroom was only adequate and could do with some renovation. Creaking floorboards from the room above were annoying. |

Restaurant, bar's lounge and outdoor area all beautifully furnished with calm relaxed atmosphere. Food very good and staff extermely helpful and friendly, I have stayed there three times in the last year so that says it all really. On my last visit there was just one small thing, it was nearly impossible to change the angle of the shower over the bath, and very hard to get the water temprature right. |
