Staff were nice and polite.

The chalet room was awful. In need of a big make over, not been done for a long time. Two fuzzy channels on a TV the size of postage stamp. Not the cleanest place either.. I wont be returning there.

having stayed at over 50 places this year I can only say that this was the worst I've ever stayed in dirty,damp,very cold,completely not worth even considering

Shower....Shower.....Shower You only two things to be right good bads and decent shower the beds are fine but the shower is shocking a dribble at the most

Receptionist friendly and helpful. Had a problem with hairdryer - was replaced immediately. Asked for extra pillow - was in my room when I returned from my outing. Breakfast well organised and you could choose which items on the cooked breakfast you wanted.

Rack of toast could have been warmer - but this is just being picky.

Hav stayed here 3 times. 2 were basic but good value. This one not so good - booked a superior room as all others booked. Expecting a little luxury but actually room was not as good as previous visits and bed very hard. I was unable to sleep.

Our room was small and the layout was dreadful. There was a damp smell in our room and little bit of mould on the walls

The location of the hotel was close to the town. The staff were very friendly and very helpful, couldn't fault them.

The fact that on both online and outside the hotel advertised wifi and grill there was neither of these. Breakfast was the worst I have ever had. No wardrobe in the room. Only one channel on the t.v. (BBC1).

when we arrived we were give a chalet(annex),no heating, but that came on in the evening and next morning. but the room was in need of refurbishment, you could almost hear everyword from the people next door.recommend, hotel yes,chalet definately no.

Handy for city centre and motorway links.

the location was just right, a short walk or bus ride in to the centre which meant that you could leave the car in the car park. The double glazing was very good and you could not hear the traffic even on the road side of the hotel.

the decor was very tired. The bathroom was in a poor condition, wonky toilet seat, no hooks, no towel rails, re-fitted bath panel leaving exposed plaster work half painted ceiling. The pillows had no support. The lighting was very poor, no good for make up, and this made the room very dingy. (I understand that the lounge/bar is under redecoration so I will not comment on how poor that was). The breakfast was very average with no real choice in the cooked breakfast and little choice of other products. A small point but there was no butter knife for the toast and once you had used your cutlery for the breakfast you did not have a spare knife for the butter and jam.

Very overpriced. Not even soap in room on arrival. Had to get from reception. NO shower gel available. No BBC 1 tuned into TV so not available. WI-FI ONLY IN BAR! Not good!

Poor value. Bad layout of room. No handset for tv. Small bath towels.No- one on reception upon arrival. Poor shower - intermittent water temperature. Noisy neighbours. Restaurant/kitchen staff couldn't cope with breakfast service. Waited nearly an hour for breakfast, having to remind staff several times - no teaspoons were available. Staff totally disinterested in feedback/concerns. Overall a very unpleasant experience never to be repeated. Atmosphere of a cheap holiday resort hotel. Ideal for drunken hen/stag parties of which there was plenty! Bad advertisement for a lovely city.

Location

At the time of our stay there was a stag party and hen part also staying. The women from the hen party were running around shoutingand pplaying music until 5am. This is obviously allowed at the hotel as nothing was done about it.

Breakfast was ample, staff very helpful

could do with more coffee and tea. heating coming on at unusual times.
