Excellent variety and choose for breakfast
Poor reception for Wifi suspect regional problem not establishment
Location Home cooked food Choice of menu Friendly staff Value for money
All what you can expect from a stay in UK can be found here!
Rooms very clean and pub was nice with good food and value for money, most staff were friendly
Our room had really low ceilings which we weren't told about until arrival. We Spent a lot of money on two rooms and food and drink but at the end of the evening when a few drinks were spilt the staff were quite off hand and couldn't replace after spending that much money at the bar all evening I felt they were a bit harsh
Everything except the poor quality wifi. However, I suspect that is a regional issue and not within the hotel's power to resolve. The hotel was everything you could want from gorgeous UK country pub/hotel.
Only the poor quality wifi. However, I suspect that is a regional issue and not within the hotel's power to resolve.
Very pleasant hotel, with attentive, friendly and efficient staff
Village location is good. Restaurant is good.staff all very nice and did a great job. Would stay again but would specify a quiet room. Nice place to stay convenient for Maidstone and Dover.
Noise from the bar below room 4. Draught from the windows, very sloped floor and extremely low ceiling although room had character it's not suitable for people of 5"7 and over . Car park wasn't the easiest to find. Would recommend more in depth options of booking the room, choice of view, room size, ceiling height, room above bar or in annexe etc. room didn't reflect price. Wifi was terrible.
Decoration of the room, beautiful atmosphere, perfect breakfast!
BATHROOM!! : for handicaped people, why? Sink very low, very difficult to brush your teeth... Dirty: mark of mould in the shower, curtain of the shower too high so floor of the bathroom totally wet, flow of water very poor:takes a long time to rinse your hair...Black spot of our stay! Room also very NOISY...
the staff were very helpful and polite. the breakfast was plentiful and enjoyable.
Our room was in a separate block to the pub itself, so no problem of noise. We had a good meal in the pub, and a few drinks with the friendly locals. The pub is set in the centre of a charming old English village. Good price, especially including full English breakfast.
Everything. great staff,
Excellent location.Staff very friendly & helpful.
* Comfortable bed * Large room * Excellent breakfast
* Poor lighting in the bedroom
Good value for money staff excellent food was fantastic and a good price
Car park a bit tight for a large van
Very friendly staff. Our dog was made very welcome and given some dog biscuits. We could eat in the Bar with her in the evening and have breakfast there also. Very convenient stop over returning from Folkstone. Excellent value.
Staff........location.......bar and breakfast
Bedroom [ the cheapest [ small but with frosted windows allowing no outlook....like a prison.....Sunday lunch pretty basic
Lovely clean hotel in a very pretty location with friendly staff. Rooms decorated to a good standard. Bed very comfortable. Delicious cooked breakfast with a wide choice available. We also ate in the pub one evening which was also tasty and fairly priced. Would definitely return if we were heading to that area again.
Rooms a little noisy from the corridor and next door. We would also hear gushing water every now and then. Unsure if it was next doors toilet or sink, but annoying nonetheless especially late at night or early in the morning. Water pressure in the shower was very poor. Unable to connect to the wifi.
We stayed for 3 nights and cannot fault the place. The room was brilliant, very comfortable bed. Breakfast had a good variety and we'll cooked. We ate at the restaurant one of the nights and this was also very good. Would definitely be going back
Entering a crowded public bar with a small case I was immediately spotted by the bar staff and taken to the reception area in the corridor to the rear car park. Warm welcome and offered early morning call and newspaper (both declined!). Excellent, cosy large room with view across the pretty square. Quirky 400yr old sloping floor yet all the modern expectations of the 21st Century including good wifi signal. Breakfast - wide choice and very tasty. All the staff were very pleasant. 10/10!
It was all good.
Great pub/hotel, clean, friendly, parking, big room.
Wi-Fi isn't great.
Excellent stay! The food was fantastic!! great quality breakfast included in the price all cooked fresh! The room was beautifully presented!! Will be going back even if it's just for dinner!
Comfortable room - good food at reasonable prices - dog friendly - excellent location in central Kent. Not the cheapest but definitely value for money - we got what we paid for. Would certainly use this hotel again [this was our third visit].
A charming environment , lovely food
Cannot think of anything
Extremely poor mobile signal which is essentially for business travel. Unstable wifi
