Store dejlige værelser, en sød vært. Meget fin morgenmad, med stort set alt. Meget centralt og samtidigt meget stille, ingen gadestøj. ti minutters gang til de store seværdigheder. et minuts gang til Busstoppested. 2 minutteers gang til lokal, meget billig biludlejning. En minibar på værelset er selvfølgeligt altid velkomment. Bortset fra det får man mere end fuld valuta for pengene |

A beautiful period building run by a dedicated and polite propreieter whos only interest is your enjoyment and comfort during your stay, a credit to the proffesion. The rooms wre cleaned everyday and were equipped with plasma TV and tea/coffee making fascilities. Breakfast was 1st class and outstanding value for money. Far enough from the centre so you dont get to hear any late revellers, but close enough to walk if you want to. |

The Lairg Hotel is very conveniently situated. It is a 5 min walking distance from the EICC and a longer, but pleasant, walk from the shopping area of Princes St,the Royal Mile and the Castle. The hotel was quiet at night. The room was warm and comfortable. The shower facilities were very good. The breakfast was very good. |

I have not seen the other rooms but our room was excellent. Large double bed and a lot of space. Shower/toilet were clean and sufficient. The full Scottish breakfast was of good quality just like the service. Very, very friendly staff. Can not think of any negative thing. |

Clean and quiet and easy to reach. The cooked breakfasts were excellent and there were plenty of tea, coffee, milk n sugar in the room considering it was an overnight stay. The hairdryer was placed in front of the bedroom dressing table where they all should be! |

My teenage son and I loved our stay. Remus was very helpful and made sure we knew our way around town and had everything we needed for a pleasant visit. Breakfast was wonderful and provided a number of cold and hot menu choices. The location is perfect for walking around Edinburgh (about 20 minutes to Prince Street) and is a block from the Haymarket Railway Station. Another big bonus is the fact that the hotel is one block away from the 24 hour Airlink airport bus shuttle stop. We will definitely stay here again. A small refrigerator in the room would be lovely. |
