Rauhallinen ja ystävällinen vastaanotto ja aamiaispalvelu. Olisivat mielellään neuvoneet erilaisia retkiä jne. emme vain tarvinneet. Aamiainen oli hyvä, sai valita listalta lämpöiset mm. skipperiäkin oli tarjolla ja iso hedelmäkulho.. ikkunat kolisi kovassa tuulessa, tilkitsimme ne ja haitta poistui |

The Lairg Hotel is very conveniently situated. It is a 5 min walking distance from the EICC and a longer, but pleasant, walk from the shopping area of Princes St,the Royal Mile and the Castle. The hotel was quiet at night. The room was warm and comfortable. The shower facilities were very good. The breakfast was very good. |

Breakfast was fabulous, everything and more than you could wish for. Mr Rima was extremely helpful he couldn't do enough for us. Will definitely go back. |

I have not seen the other rooms but our room was excellent. Large double bed and a lot of space. Shower/toilet were clean and sufficient. The full Scottish breakfast was of good quality just like the service. Very, very friendly staff. Can not think of any negative thing. |

Clean and quiet and easy to reach. The cooked breakfasts were excellent and there were plenty of tea, coffee, milk n sugar in the room considering it was an overnight stay. The hairdryer was placed in front of the bedroom dressing table where they all should be! |

My teenage son and I loved our stay. Remus was very helpful and made sure we knew our way around town and had everything we needed for a pleasant visit. Breakfast was wonderful and provided a number of cold and hot menu choices. The location is perfect for walking around Edinburgh (about 20 minutes to Prince Street) and is a block from the Haymarket Railway Station. Another big bonus is the fact that the hotel is one block away from the 24 hour Airlink airport bus shuttle stop. We will definitely stay here again. A small refrigerator in the room would be lovely. |

Personal friendly welcome by staff, great breakfast and and excellent value. Location was quiet and convenient for visit to Modern Art Gallery. Just 10min walk into centre. |

We had a lovely, large room facing the yard, so it was very quiet. It was perfectly clean and comfortable. Our host couldn't have been nicer. Our bags had been delayed and he personally brought them up to our room very late at night. Breakfast was generous. The location is terrific; a quiet neighborhood, but right near the train station, so the city is just minutes away by train, or a pleasant 20 minute walk. There are some very good restaurants in close walking distance, too. |

This lovely old guest-house is very clean. It is located close to Haymarket Station and the bus routes to the city and airport. The staff are very friendly and the breakfast is delicious. |
