Friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Good food with reasonable choice at lunch and dinner and an excellent breakfast. Inadequate storage space (drawers etc.) for a stay of more than a couple of days. |

Handy for my destination within the town (but also for the facilities of the town itself), its sea-front location, and the delicious breakfast. I wished I could have had a sea view from my room, rather than a wall view. |

The friendliness of all the staff, comfort of the lounge and restaurant areas and its location on the promenade of Douglas Bay. The town is a comfortable and pleasant walk although there is a bus / tram service. The breakfast was excellent! |

Hotel was run very efficiently, with pleasant staff. Location was very good being right on the sea front and a short walk to local shops / restaurants etc. Very convenient for the ferry terminal. |

Good location midway on the Promenade and close to a bus and horsecar stop. Check-in and pub staff were friendly and efficient. Unlike many older British seaside hotels, this one has a lift. |

Efficient and polite staff on front desk The spa facilities were very basic, it would have been better if locker keys were available from the spa desk rather than reception |

There was a nice atmosphere in the hotel, all the staff were very helpful. The only problem we had was that my mother has mobility problems and there are quite a lot of steps to get up to the hotel and also in the hotel. It wouldn't be any good for anyone in wheelchair or anyone who has difficulty in walking. |

its sea view from the room and location of the hotel . only thing which i felt little uneasy was the reaction of the staff towards us as they didnt expected us in between most of the customers being 60 plus age and we were the young family in between them, the staff looked surprised and even one restaurant staff asked r u staying in this hotel, isint that stupid? |

the main rooms of the hotel were very nice, clean and well furnished. Staff were all very pleasant. Breakfast was good and the meal we took in the dining room. was emtremely good and very good value. Room was quite small but adequate, chairs in room need to be replaced as they look shabby and also look quite dirty. |

The atmosphere in the hotel is excellent, elegant and a little bit victorian. Especially the piano player in the evening created a special relaxing feeling. The seaside executive suite in which we stayed has a fantastic view out to the bay. |

The hotel was clean and comfortable with an excellent English dinner menu. Piano Bar very comfortable with a good evening ambience. The bedrooms were a bit on the small side and the breakfast could be improved. |
