the location was very good, some of the hotel staff were very helpful and booked us restaurants and taxi. The waitress that was on duty for breakfast had a huge attitude problem because i wanted to sit at the table beside the rest of my family, she wanted to sit me at the other side of the restaurant even though there were about 4 free tables beside my family, i was getting looks that would kill every morning after that |

The bedroom was a great size and very clean as was the bathroom. Receptionist was very helpful on check in and check out. The hairdryer in the bathroom needs to be updated. |

I like the bar area as that bit was modern The room was tiny, you couldn't swing a cat in it. Also it was a 3/4 bed for 2 adults and very uncomfortable bed. |

The pleasant atmosphere although it was quiet as can be expected in October. To eat at at reasonable price and a non exotic menu you had to eat in the piano bar on a low coffee table |

Very good value. I was expecting a tired and run down hotel for the price I paid but it was far from it. |

This is a regular business trip, and I find it an ideal location to relax in the evening Very slow service in the restaurant, the staff go missing on a regular basis, ok if you have plenty of time but very annoying if you need a relatively quick meal and then get on with something else |

The location of the hotel is absolutely excellent and we loved the conservatory during the day and at night. Two nights at the hotel was definitely not enough time on the Isle of Man. We would have loved to eat in the superb restaurant but the cost of the a la carte menu was much too expensive |

The staff were very helpful and pleasant. An interesting Aroma restaurant downstairs serving asian food. A nice bar area with a pianist most nights. I felt that parts of the hotel could have done with a lick of paint. Having to pay for internet access is not what you would expect from a large hotel that may wish to attract business customers. |

Excellent staff. Very helpful and polite. Very comfortable hotel with good facilities.. On our floor the maids seemed to commence theitr duties at quite an early time. They were very noisy and didn't seem to take into account that the guests were still asleep. |

All of the staff were lovely, the receptionsts, the bar staff, the kitchen staff and the room attendant- hope I havent missed anyone out. The location was perfect, a lovely stroll to each end of the bay. Everything was great- our first vist to the Isle of man and it couldnt have been better. Hotel was great, the tv reception could be improved perhaps and better quality tolet roll- now I am beng picky but really cant fault anytrhing else. |

The staff were very polite and helpful, it was my wedding day on the saturday and the rest of my family were staying in the hotel, the staff helped out with ordering taxis and advice on directions to the church for those driving. The only thing I was slightly disappointed with was the number of foreign members of staff working in the hotel, while they were polite and helpful sometimes it was hard to understand them because of there accents, it would have been nice to see more manx people working there. |

The hotel is well placed, on the seafront and about half way between the Steam Railway & the Electric Railway. Breakfast was excellent. Pianist/organist in the bar was not to our taste and was off putting - we went elsewhere for drinks. |
