We needed to be close to the Eurostar terminal for a journey to France the next day. The hotel was ideal. The room had everything we needed - comfy bed, lovely bathroom, and tv. The breakfast was extremely good. The location was perfect for us, in a quiet crescent, but only minutes away from the hustle and bustle of London traffic. There were lots of good eating places within a very short walk for our evening meal. The hotel staff were very pleasant. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you to everyone. The room was fine, with decent en suite, television and other equipment. The breakfast was satisfactory, nothing special. The location is excellent - extremely handy for Bloomsbury and Covent Garden, British Museum, Britisn Library, Kings Cross, Euston and St Pancras, and in walking distance of theatres. Overall, decent value. Not such a rabbit warren as some small hotels in the area, but the stairs are a factor if you're not too agile.

Quiet but central location in Bloomsbury. Convenient for Russell Square tube station (5-10 min on foot) and King´s Cross / Euston / St. Pancras railway stations (approx. 15 min on foot w/ luggage). Very clean room and bathroom. Very friendly and efficient (Eastern European) staff. Modern flat screen tv and free internet (wlan) in room. Mixed (!) water tap on bathroom sink. Good breakfast (full English). Possibility to store luggage in reception prior to check-in and after check-out (until departure later in the day). Had requested a room on a lower floor at time of booking but were given a room on the top (3rd) floor; no lift. Water pressure on 3rd floor very poor. "Power shower" produced only a faint trickle.

The Euro was far different from their website. There was no lift, and the stairs made the place unacceptable for my knees. There is no reception desk, the lady on duty was new and untrained, the room was bare, dim, there was no water pressure in the shower, no room service, ice was out of a small tray in the kitchen fridge. This may be a good place for back-packers, or people on a tight budget, but we checked out the following morning.

Excellent value and cleanliness. Ground floor room good, breakfast good. Will definitely stay again. Some noise late at night from either heating system or other electrical system. Would have preferred a choice of breakfast, ie continental.

London has a reputation for being unfriendly, but that was far from the case at The Euro Hotel,, the staff were firendly and welcoming. Nothing really, although I would prefer ot beook an en suite room next time. My single room was certainly big enough to have a toilet and shower installed in it, perhaps the hotle could look at this.

As a woman travelling with 2 children, I found the location excellent. It is in a really safe and pleasant area and was extremely quiet at night. The triple room had 2 single beds and a double bed and lots of space in between. Room and ensuite were clean and comfortable although water pressure in the shower wasn't brilliant as we were on the top floor. A very pleasant breakfast room and helpful staff made it an excellent place to stay for a city break. We would definitely go back.

The location of The Euro is perfect for people wanting to visit the major museums and galleries in London but there are also many smaller, less well known places of great interest on the doorstep too. We very much appreciated the cleanliness of this hotel; our room was spotless. The hotel was quiet and well run and the staff were very helpful and friendly. This is an exceptional budget hotel and we hope to use it again.

I stayed at this hotel for the second time and I found the service and the facility in general very satisfactory. However, the room I stayed this time had a little trouble with is facility. Its window frame looked old and did not close properly so that there was a little gap between the outer frame and the inner one, consequently, I could hear the footsteps and talks of the passers-by walking outside during the night, which actually made me very nervous. I do hope they can attend to this problem.

friendly staff, the hotel was clean and tidy. i had rung the day before check in to see if we could leave our bags, and when we arrived they had prepared our rooms early so we could check in. the room was comfortable and spacious. we had a quad room as ther was me and my 2 sisters and my daughter staying. good location for transport and for central London it was reaonably quiet - just off main roads.

Quiet yet central in an elegant Georgian crescent. Very convenient for buses and tube and within easy walking distance of St Pancras and King's Cross stations. Nothing to dislike as far as we were concerned, though otheres may find lack of lift a disadvantage. But that is not likely in a converted Georgian town house.

Very pleasant but breakfast should start at 7:30. 8 A.M. is too late for those of us who want to get out and about. Also, will book a back room next time, the front rooms are too close to the pavement where people chat and scream late at night and early morning. Otherwise it was a very pleasant stay. Thank you. Roger.

clean, pleasant and staff extremely nice and helpful. overall a good stay and I probably will stay there again for short trips to the City. location is all right, close to Tube station (Russell Square) and with lots of convenience stores and food outlets nearby. breakfast was a nice added plus, although it could be expanded a bit (porridge, pancakes etc) Room a bit small and I found the beds not particularly comfortable. towels are too thin and need renewing!

“The staff at Crestfield were absolutely friendly and helpful. The room was small as are all London hotels that are affordable, but I didn't mind it at all. The best part of staying at the Crestfield Hotel is the location. It is a block away from the King's Cross tube stop, which is in the heart of the city. Also, the Pancras International train station is there as well, making easy to grab a train to France/Belgium and the rest of Europe. Can't beat it!” Tony, Studio City |
