Stayed twice before and had been good. Both nights VERY noisey especially Saturday night when awoken at 1.30am by a bunch of drunken youths staying at the hotel. A great pity as we would now not stay there again.

Close proximity to Canterbury, seaside resorts and other attractions ie Dover Castle, Essex Castle, Chartwell etc. Accommodation block could be noisy in the mornings with early risers

Staff was very welcoming and friendly. Charming restaurant and pub. Easy drive out of the center of Canterbury and away from the crowds. Rooms well equipped w coffee/tea, iron, blow dryer, etc. Rooms definitely need updating. Mattress felt rather lumpy & old. Dinner service in restaurant was a bit lacking, but food was tasty.

I have stayed in hotel Evenhill with my 11 years old son when we visited the town of Canterbury. The room was located immediately behind the main building of the pub, very clean and spacious. We have made quick check in and then pave passed a wonderful evening, dining in a pub.. Great choice of dishes, very tasteful and good beer! I would recommend this hotel to everybody who is viisting Canterbury and wants to stay in a quiet and nice place. Big parking for a car and very eassy to find the place, right on the main road, 5 minutes from Canterbury.

Handy for Canterbury and plenty of free parking. Pub looks quite pleasant. Meals not taken but breakfast adequate. Good supply of tea coffee and biscuits in room, Room small and very badly lit. Decor jaded and a few cobwebs around, a lamp not working and toilet seat broken.Beds not very comfortable. Very disturbed night due to noise of other guests - poor insulation between rooms. Would have got money back with Premier Inn!

The Evenhill was very functional and filled our requirements perfectly. However it also had atmosphere in the main pub and gave us a first class breakfast. Good service from all we saw The motel area was a bit noisy at nights with the self-closing doors being a bit heavy.

The room was spacious and clean. Ample parking. Nicely designed and welcoming restaurant and bar. Good breakfast. I would happily stay there again. The walls are quite thin and you can hear noise from other rooms.

We first stayed at the Evenhill after an internet search. Our first stay was so pleasant that we will use the Evenhill again when we are over that way and have recommended it to many of our friends. Excellent value for money, great service, friendly staff, relaxed attitude. Nothing that matters

The location, and the ease of getting from the Evenhill into Canterbury was exactly what we were looking for. The size of the King Double Room, and the bed itself, was very good, The room had all the facilities [trouser press, coffee, tea and biscuits, sat TV] you would expect. The rooms are well back from the road, so there not much noise, even though it is located on a busy road. Nothing big [so no 'complaint' as such], but there was a series of little things that we believe could be improved upon . . a) no security catch on ground floor windows to prevent access from outside once they were open. b) although the room, by and large, was clean and well presented, behind the bed was quite dusty c) there was no plug located near the table where the coffee/tea was presented so you had to move a kettle full of water around the room d) although the cooked breakfast was very nice, the choice of cereal/juices/yoghurts for someone not eating a cooked breakfast was limited and we thought a bit disappointing

Country Inn with separate accomodation barn. Good Value @£55.00 although would not have booked if had to pay advertised £80.00 per night for Double Room. Food good & reasonably priced Smell of bleach/cleaning fluids lingering in our room.

We booked this hotel for the night before my son commenced his studies at the University of Kent. The bedrooms were clean and airy with a large en-suite,lovely fluffy towels and the little extras like a hairdryer and a well stocked tea tray. Our evening meal was taken in the delightful restaurant. The food was excellent and good value for money and the staff courteous and helpful.I would happily stay there again as it is only minutes from Canterbury by car. The cooked breakfast was a little too greasy for our tastes but there was plenty of other choices like cereal and fruit juices and yoghurt
