No cold water in the sink tap. No blanket on the bed it was freezing. Slept with my coat on first night.
Early check in. Breakfast in room option. Easy Parking. Clean.
Noisy guest in room 6. His partner had locked him out and between midnight and 4am he was constantly knocking for her to let him in. I had no sleep at all. There was no answer from reception/night porter. I even wondered if he was the night porter as he claimed he lived in room 6! This was probably a one off, but I was disappointed there was no night porter available to intervene.
A lovely peaceful atmosphere and friendly staff.
All staff very friendly breakfast very good and room very good , will be the first place I will look for from now on , after staying at a bigger hotel down the road, falcon will be first on list
May need more sky channels for longer stays. I E movies ???
The location was really good and staff were friendly
Think there could had been more choose for the breakfast. Been nice as well if there was bar meals or snacks
Comfortable but just feels over-priced
When I checked in early evening there was someone sat at the bar eating take-away pizza. This used to be a favourite hotel,it feels like it has lost its standards a bit
position of hotel, room, comfortable bed good breakfast.
slight noise from the water tank filling as we were on the second floor but stopped at night
very friendly staff + reception+dinig area very nice
decor of the room needs updating, more private on the windows + the breakfast could b improved by option of beans, fruit not needed on breakfast plate, shower needs updated mixer tap hard 2 control temperture drippin tap + cracked tiles
freindly staff good breakfast easy parling
matress had dip in middle
Almost overlooking the RAE runway, so we could watch planes coming and going. As a plane 'nut' this was a real bonus we did not expect
The overpowering wallpaper. Bathroom is too small
Bed very uncomfortable
Comfy bed, good breakfast.
Could hear everything the person next door said, and he coughed all night. Kettle was broken as well.
Comfortable bed & nicely decorated clean room. Easy parking & polite staff. Breakfast was very tasty & piping hot.
Unfortunately we had no cold water from the bathroom sink & the shower was a little temperamental. We also stayed at the same time as a private function on the Saturday night, which we weren't aware of & so had music until the early hours & guests "finding" their way back to their rooms via banging into ours. Breakfast the following morning was not as peaceful as the previous morning, due to young children being allowed to run around the dining area whilst guests were eating without being asked to stop by any staff members.
Anna the receptionist was outstanding , the best part of the stay was the fantastic staff, great place to stay
The mattress was quite hard and being 6 foot 2 could not get under the shower
The welcome and the excellence of the staff, who were so happy and helped me prepare for the next day with Taxi etc. Cooked breakfast was very good, and the sausages really were high quality, presented so nicely and with a decent Coffee it really set me up for the day. Rooms very clean, with a very good choice of tea, coffee and Chocolate of a decent standard. I could not fault the staff and their service.
The Hotel was very very hot, even though the heating was not on.
I liked everything there was to like at the Falcon. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The hotel was very peaceful and comfortable. The breakfast I had was most excellent. In all I did not find any faults whatsoever.
Nothing to dislike
Wifi was an extra cost. I now expect internet access to be available at at no charge.
Renovated superior room Breakfast parking area
Internet these days is not just a nice to have but a minimum requirement. Going over to the local pub on the other side of the road gave free wifi access, in the hotel where we were for a couple of hours it was 9 pounds a day!
Friendly helpful staff Good location Nice breakfast Value for money
Sadly NO reflection on the hotel, we had two men in the room below room 24 that came in at midnight and kept us awake the whole of the rest of the night. One was being repeatedly sick all night and in the interim they they just talked and talked loudly. We could hear every word. On reflection we should have called the night porter. Shame. We did report it in he morning when asked if all was well with the stay. Of course too late.
Good car parking and reception. Room very comfortable. No frills breakfast included excellent value for the price paid.
Nothing really - a little more attention to detail in the breakfast restaurant so that all jams and spreads and napkins were on every table
Large open reception area with terrace to sit out in when warm. Excellent breakfast and very helpful staff.
The Staff were amazing and very thoughtful as my little girl is 2 years old. She was made to feel very welcome as we were but at meal times she was thought off. eg: breakfast we ordered egg sausage and toast and the chef and waitress came out with it already cut up and at a perfect temp for her to eat. sunday breakfast she was given a fruit bowl and nibbles and again the above. We hold fond memories with this hotel and will use it over and over again. the accomadation was beautiful and spacious ideal for an active 2 year old.
Nothing THE ONLY SUGGESTION I MADE WAS TO HAVE ANTI SLIP MATS WITH SUCKERS IN THE FAMILY BATH, TO PREVENT SLIPPING AS SHOWER WAS COMBINED. Maybe a secure latch restrictor on the windows as children like to climb. so very consious of leaving window wide open.
it was so hot all the time
Staff were helpful and friendly
£75 Single room at front so small, right on main road and funny smell that upgraded to better room. Not worth the £129 price. Poor value for that money.
