Castle Ashby House is a beautiful and historic country house, just minutes from the hotel. The grounds are within easy walking distance of the Falcon and the impressive gardens are open from March to October. The Marquis of Northampton's family have owned the 10,000-acre estate for over four centuries, and it encompasses many of the local hamlets and villages, including Castle Ashby itself.

Other local attractions include Canons Ashby National Trust House and gardens, Lyveden New Bield National Trust property, Kirby Hall English Heritage, Silverstone and Santa Pod Raceway, Towcester Racecourse and the Nene Valley Railway.

Wellingborough and Bedford are just a few miles away, with Northampton just 6 miles (10 km) from the hotel and Milton Keynes just 17 miles (27 km) away. Milton Keynes has one of the country’s best indoor "real snow" ski slopes, a free-fall chamber for adrenaline junkies and a cinema complex.

This small, rural village is easily accessible from Northampton, Bedford, Milton Keynes and Wellingborough as it is within easy reach of the A45, A14 and M1.

By Car:
- Take the M1.
- Exit at junction 15 (Northampton).
- Take the A45.
- Exit at junction 10 for Castle Ashby and Earls Barton.

Or:
- Take the M1.
- Exit at junction 15 (Northampton).
- Take the A428 to Bedford.
- After 5 miles, turn left to Castle Ashby.
