The Falmouth hotel is a traditional hotel with all the old features. It is on the whole very well looked after, it is very relaxing, overlooks the sea with magnificent views and gardens. It is ideal for a relaxing break. The staff , service, food and hotel could not be faulted. Thank you

We stayed for the Christmas package. It was excellent - loved the little extras (mulled wine, champagne, decorated tables, santa etc.). The staff were very friendly and helpful.

A convenient place to stay. Good facilities. Usually stay elsewhere in Falmouth but couldn't get rooms at short notice. Not disappointed and might stay at The Falmouth again.

The staff were friendly and very knowledgable. The breakfast (cooked) was made from quality produce. I wanted to pay by Amex, but was dissuaded from this as there was a 3.5% surcharge from that type of card.

Spacious room. Period building. Good position. Easy parking. Polite and helpful staff. Very reasonable rates. Coffee could have been better - as with pretty much all Hotels!

Booking was concerned with availability of acc'n, in neeed of visiting Falmouth for a family funeral. The hotel is looking tired decorately, and refitting is required in Bedrooms.. Poor comparison in this respect with other front line Falmouth hotels. Updating needed. Staff were available, but took so long to answer one's needes, and appeared to lack first hand initiative, 'passing the buck' to otherss ! With outdoor furnture stored away for the winter season, there were no proper faciliiies for relaxing out of doors during high week-end temperatures in 1 - 3 October.

We had a fantastic meal in the restaurant. The staff were helpful and location great. The room was disappointing light bulbs not working, extractor switch cover off, mirror with screw missing, old worn blanket, would have preferred Duvet. Just run down. I phoned the spa and they were not there until 7.00 as it said on the info. There was no snooker room.

The hotel had character. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Food was excellent and the room comfortable. Plenty of selection with regard to tea/coffee in room. The sea views were first class... large picture windows. Decor a little tired. fairly pricy.

the food was good and staff very pleasant. Room was clean and spacious as we had booked suite. It is in a lovely spot, but really needs updating. Some of the carpets were threadbare, looked like it was stuck in 1976, but I would stay there again dispite this.

it was a lovely old fashioned hotel, fab breakfast, nice staff and really good location at a good price. there was a knocking noise from the bathroom that if we had been light sleepers would have made our stay horrendous Room 406 i reported it twice to the hotel but since i think it had to do with the internal plumbing not sure if they would ever be able to do something about it in such a lovely old building. it didn't bother us too much but i can imagine some may get really annoyed

An absolutely fantastic place to relax with beautiful views across the sea and Pendennis Castle. The bed was extemely comfortable. Loved the atmosphere of the place - all very tastefully done out and nice helpful staff. Everything to be honest was really good - but would have liked a more spacious room.

Complimentary tea / coffee in lounge on arrival. Sea-view room with fantastic view. Nice & quiet location . The very modern looking shower unfortunately did not have enough power for my wife to rinse her hair. Full payment for the booking was taken on arrival rather than when we checked out.

Location very good, overlooking the sea from the dining/breakfast room. Not so good from the bedroom It has seen better days and needs some money spent on it. Our room had been recently updated but the shower door didn't close properly(ill fitting) and the mattress and pillows were not good (cheap). Our children(early twenties) shared a bedroom that had not been updated and the shower didn't work at all well. Breakfast disappointing with weak tea and coffee - kipper defineatley the best choice, was actually surprisingkly good for a hotel.

The Falmouth Hotel is set in the most spectacular location, it is directly opposite the beach and within walking distance of Falmouth town centre. The hotel hasn't been refurbished since the early 1990s and everything is a little tired and frayed around the edges. Even though our room was vast, the furniture was shabby but not in a 'shabby chic' sort of way, the tv aerial was not properly wired into the tv so if slightly moved it fell out. There were huge damp spots on the ceiling of the room. Although the staff are delightful we found the price was not reflective of the condition of the hotel.
