Splendid location and views retaining its mid 19th century charm with modern facilities. The food in the restaurant was exemplary. It's a pity the fitness room was poorly laid out with old and damaged equipment. |

Excellent location for town and beach. Very friendly and helpful staff. Room was very clean with great view. Breakfast good. They take dogs. Badly in need of decoration and a refit. though room comfortable and very clean had peeling paint, cracked wallpaper, chipped sink, very tired and badly done decor etc. stairs and general areas the same. pool and changing area could be cleaner. Shame as it has so many good things going for it. |

The staff were all very friendly, greeted me with a smile on every occasion which I feel is really important. The hotel itself was very clean, well maintained and in a great position. I would definately go there again. Great value for money. |

Good bed, good breakfast, nice arcitektur, good view(and sunshine), this was our last stay after walking three dayes at the coast, so it was realy good to enter such a wonderfull hotel. I struggled a bit with the handles on the shower. Thats why the comfort ended up with fair. And I am not so pleased with carpets on the floor. |

Spectacular views across the bay & comfortable rooms. Excellent bar facilities. Leisure facilities were very disappointing - tired & in need of much refurbishment. |

We were most impressed with the courtesy of all the staff with whom we came in contact. The bedroom was large and, being on a corner, had twin aspects with views of both the sea and Falmouth town. The leisure facilities were very good although, being open to paying local residents, could be a little crowded at times. We had one minor niggle. The shower was rather dated and with little power. |

Breakfast was nice and staff courteous. I simply felt the room was not value for money. Felt the price charged did not reflect the quality of our room which was small without a view. The hotel appears to be in need of renovation adn charges 4 star rates for 2/3 star rooms. |

The Breakfast was good and wholesome and the View from the forth floor was good from a tiny Garett window!. Built in 1865, nothing much has changed! Perhaps the original Carpets! Very Small Garret Room on the Forth floor, a Blanket on the bed? Filthy bath slip mat (Covered in Mould). A very Shabby experience, the lift smelt baddy and was not clean. Insufficient Bar Staff to support a social function. |
