Checking out I didnt like anything about this place. a b&b would be better to stay in. Room was tiny and I mean tiny. The bar was closed due to it be hired for a private function. The guests that pay all year round to keep it open seemingly dont matter. When I was checking in 5 other people were complaining so im not the only one. Horrible experience and quite honestly a standard b&b would be better than this place. I would not call it a hotel. Completely ruined my weekend.

The room was comfy and spacious although a little tired, could do with a facelift soon. Breakfast was excellent, there was something for everyone what ever their taste. The full english was lovely and hot. I think the free bar between 5pm and 7pm should be made clearer when booking. We had booked and understood there was a free bar, however on checking in and gtoing for a drink we find out it wasn't included in our booking. This was the only real disappointment.

The rooms were cold. Bathroom had no heating and mild on the tiles. The curtains were hanging from the rails. My son had to sleep in his coat as it was that cold. I fell its because the heat is lost through the windy cold bathroom The two young staff worked hard thats the only reason I never complained as the staff were lovely

The staff and location free wifi and value for money were the prime motivations. I would say that my experiences with the online bookings process meant we received good value but the rooms were typically the less desirable rooms in this case at the top of the stairs.

the breakfast was very good & we had the advantage of the free bar which was exellent loved the size of the bed, but it dominated the room, so it made it difficult moving around the bed. also storage space was enough for one or two night stay, but if staying longer this may be a problem.

The view from the road. The bed was very comfortable and the quilt very warm. Breakfast good and staff helpful and friendly. Great location for events at the Philharmonic Hall. The rooms were very dark, cold, and austere....a major makeover is required. Chairs stacked against doors and in corridors, rooms poorly cleaned and outdated.I Booked an executive double and was appalled at the size and standard of the room for the price.Being ripped off for £10 extra to park car on hotel ground at the rear of the hotel.Carpets poorly cleaned in corridor and stairs.Receptionist spent 10 minutes looking for our booking on the computer. We did not have a room with a view (45)and had to complain to get a replacement room which was better..why couldnt they have put us into this room at the start( 53).

Comfortable beds. Friendly helpful staff. Good location. The amount of flights of stairs to access rooms/ toilets/dining room. Not suitable for elderly or anyone not mobile. Especially when carrying suitcases. No lift.

Its excellent location for the Philharmonic Hall, where we were attending a Concert, and the Roman Catholic Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the KIng. The friendliness and efficiency of all the staff with whom we came into contact. The excellent buffet breakfast included in the price we paid. The secure car parking facilities - that was an extra £10.00 well spent! Overall, the Hotel delivered excellent value for money. We will certainly stay there again.

The location to the shops and echo arena. The staff were friendly and helpful. The decor throughout was good. £10 per night car park fee which wasn't advertised anywhere. The executive room ee had booked, the bed had two small mattresses and it was uncomfortable as one of us ended up laying on it.
