It was comfortable, fairly quiet (at the back of the hotel) and cosy. I expected a double room and got one with two single beds pushed together, with another single bed in addition. Is this usual? The decor in the room showed signs of wear and tear (carpet, bathroom tiles, wallpaper) and will probably need updating in the near future, although I noted that the curtains were new. Oh, and note that while booking.com did not charge me in advance, the hotel did. |

It was a perfect location -we could leave the car in the car parking area and then walk to eveything we wanted to see, historic buildings, museums, galleries, excellent eating places and shops! For our purpose it was perfect, |

Over priced for the the worlds smallest hotel room. Avoid Room 3, University Wing. Oh and wrap up warm |

The room was nice and comfortable. The stairs to get to the room, the fact the restaurant was closed due to a private function. |

The location I was disappointed with the facilities of the room. I booked the executive room which stated Plasma TV and Playstation. There was no playstation and i could not get the TV to work. |

Hotel a bit dated and tatty. Tried to buy a drink in the hotel bar but was told it was a private party, so there was no facility for residents to buy a drink. |

We were not informed prior to the stay that due to a pre booked party we would not be able to use either the bar or restaurant. The room was described as an executive room with chocolates. I have had better rooms at hotels not as expensive (even with a so called deal) and chocolates meant 3 chocolates on a small plate that is not even 2 each!! The staff seemed ore interested in telling us what we could'nt do and not what we could!! I have used your site many times and I must admit this time I was truly disapointed. |

Staff were extemely helpful The first room allocated to us was small with a bed up against a wall - not acceptable but was immediately accommodated in a better room when asked |

Twin room was small and cold. Asked for heating to be turned up and was given a heater. No views from window due to frosted glass and being in the basement making room dark. |

The staff where very good and breakfast was nice but expensive We stayed in room 3 which was a very small poky room. There was a broken gutter outside the window and due to the rain kept me up all night. Other guest coming in at 3am and 5am sounded as if they where in the same room. Expensive for what we got, not value for money |
