The staff were all friendly.

The room was, although clean, very dark and drab - in the basement. I was worried because there was no opening window - fire risk. The breakfast was a shambles! My husband ordered 2 fried eggs and these took about 15 minutes to appear - by which time I had eaten mine. The bacon on my plate was cold - although my husband's was not as they had just put out fresh supplies. The sausage was not good as it tasted cheap and nasty.

Convenient for the University. Good food and elegant restaurant. Quiet, comfortable room.

Seemed a bit gloomy with windy corridors hence less good initial impression. Room very small.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good and the atmosphere was welcoming. The public areas and rooms were welcoming and clean. Primarily I would stress how helpful and friendly all staff were. good service all round.

I disliked the fact the bathroom didnot have a blind and the glass was clear, therefore there was no privacy available while one was in the bathroom. Rm 11 university. I appreciate it is a top floor room facing a university building, no permanent residents but still a small blind cannot be beyond the purse of a multi national hotel group. It was the only thing that made the stay uncomfortable.

Very handy for concert hall. Not expensive.

Cramped room. Cramped parking space. Items on dinner menu not available. Fire alarm went off in bedroom after a shower because the bathroom extractor fan was not switched on

The breakfasts were really delicious and the staff very friendly and helpful. My bed was comfortable and I liked the tea and coffee facilities in my room.

The location was excellent, and staff friendly.

The room was not worth the money paid. I booked an executive room at £238 for two nights, and it was no better than a £50 a night hotel room. For the two days we had no hot running water in either the shower or the taps. The room was tired and cold. The staff tried to find another room, just for my girlfriend to have a shower, and could only find one with hot water, after two attempts. My girlfriend had to shower for a wedding in a hotel room over the otherside of the hotel, and then return back to our room.

Location was good on with s short distance travel to the docks and st peters square.

Additional £10 parking charge not displayed on description. We had a room smaller than my spare room at home with the toilet bowl no more than an arm stretch away from the bed. There was a large stain on the carpet which was either blood or sick. The room smelt if sick on arrival. The shower was cold. Was not impressed as I took my girlfriend for a trip away and now she thinks I don't like her. :-/

The bedroom doors course had been kicked in a few times the decor please check your net curtains obvious Beetle prints clashes of to many prints and different wallpapers!? Strange..
