The Feathers hotel is situated in Liverpool's city centre, within walking distance of most attractions. We had a great weekend stay, hotel is lovely, food was excellent and staff were excellent. Would stay at the Feathers again.

The staff were all very welcoming.

I would have liked a remote for the tv. Despite requests this was not forthcoming.

Excellent breakfast and friendly staff.

I stayed in a room on the top floor at the front of the building. I found the room very airless, but too noisy with the window open. There was no hairdryer which I would expect as standard in a hotel of this rating. The room layout and bathroom were cramped.

We were there to do shopping and just relax before going home

The only thing that spoilt the night was the leak from the room above but the staff were very good they got us some wine and the following day we were given a refund of £25

Close to city centre and univsersity areas

In some of the rooms, the windows cannot be opened. I stayed in two different rooms during my stay. On the first night the room was in the basement with no opening windows, so unable to get any fresh air in the room. The other room was on the first floor but the windows were so old fahioned and impossible to "lift up" to get some air in. The hotel has no lift, not ideal for the elderly

The room was nicely decorated.

There were a pair of underpants left in our room from the previous guests! We were in a basement room which was hot and the window only opened a little bit. When the window was open, there was noise from the street above.

Everything. We checked out after one night and the Manager refunded our money.

I had to keep going back to reception to get my door card set nearly every time i tryed to enter the room

The food (breakfast) was hot as was tea and coffee. nothing was to much bother to staff who were friendly.

Yes,Shower room to small,door did't close so towel on floor(as no hook on at arms length to hang it or my robe)hard to keep hair dry as no dryer and only 1 sh/cap.Basin too small and shelf above, in way,made it hard to wash face.
