It was very central for the City, easy to find and had parking. Everything about the hotel is very tired and badly in need of refurbishment. The staff were not always very helpful. |

Essentially we liked this hotel for its location. The staff was polite but not overly friendly. The room needs desperate renovations. The carpet was worn down to its threads, the tub had a cigarrette burn, the linoleum was peeling off the floor, and the TV did not receive any channels. |

The location was wonderful - just in the heart of Bath city and the bedroom very comfortable. The bedroom was kept pleasantly cool during the two very hot nights we spent there. The staff were freindly and helpful. The wine was a poor list and the bottle we chose - not by any means the cheapest - could have been bought at a supermarket for quarter the price. It was neither 'appellation controlée' nor 'mis en bouteille' and had a screw lid (that wouldn't condemn it, but it rather points to a low price normally). |

Very friendly staff, hotel very comfortable and clean, great location A small point but it would have been nice to have snacks on the bar or offered with our drinks order, I also felt that given the room rate the additional charge for parking was a little strong |

The location, quality and service at the Francis are very good and good value with b & b £129 for 2 adults and 1 child. Extra £10 for car park that is rather small |

We enjoyed the olde world style of the hotel. Staff were good and pleasant, and the location is excellent. The hotel is looking very tired. Our room was poorly furnished having a white duvet on the bed, it looked as if they had run out of duvet covers! The chairs looked like they belonged in a second hand shop! We did feel as if we were given the poorest room as we had booked through an on-line booking agency. |

The location is perfect for exploring Bath, everything was fine, staff very pleasant and helpful, breakfast was nicely cooked and well-presented Room was a bit shabby (but not dirty), but that was reflected in the price. |

The hotel was very well placed to explore the sights of Bath. The breakfasts were very good, offering an excellent choice. The 'superior' bedroom whilst being spacious was very tired and the furniture could do with refurbishment. |

The Hotel is full of character and characters and wonderful old world charm. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, my room was very comfortable and the hotel is incredibly convenient to all the delights of Bath and the fact that it had parking was fantastic. |

Central location and friendly helpful reception staff. Hotel was very clean and had character. Check-in and out was efficient. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Bathroom facilities very good. Parking was over priced - guests should be able to stay for free. Unhappy with room, as it looked nothing like photos on the website. Had a room on the 3rd floor (in the roof) so had one normal sized window in the corner (which was difficult to get to) and two small windows so next to no natural light in the room. Got very hot at night (even though we stayed in march! |
