Sentral plassering, parkering på hotellet. Søtt bad Dyr parkering. Rommene kunne trengt oppgradering. |

Hotellet lå pefekt til sentralt i byen. Bare to kvartaler unna hovedgt ved en koselig park med krakker. Lå i en superkoselig, veldig sentral del av byen. Vil gjerne bo der igjen. Vi var veldig fornøyd, kommer ikke på noen. Det er et gammelt hotel, men flott restaurert. Fine bad m godt plass, gode senger og super frokost. ;-) |

Good central location, warm and comfortable room with good standard of decor in the room We were a family staying with a baby. Travel cot was provided. The room location was not ideal as we had to go down several sets of stairs whilst carrying the baby. |

The location is perfect for shopping. The public rooms - bar, lounge, dining room are very well designed and set out. The bed was very comfortable. the staff were friendly, when you could find them. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful but it seemed that they were a bit understaffed and it was sometimes difficult to find anyone. Also, when my friends and I came back to the hotel at the end of the evening we were unable to find the barman to order a second round of drinks although the bar was still quite busy. The bedroom looked as it was due for a refurbishment and the loo was stained and could have done with a more thorough clean. |

beautiful surroundings, excellent decor and perfect loction in the heart of Bath - with parking! Nice restaurant with excellent food. Although the restaurant food was good, the bar food was pretty average - one of the worst club sandwiches I've ever had, soggy with too much mayo. Also bar service could be better. |

The hotel's location was excellent a short walk from the centre of Bath. The staff were excellent and the breakfast menu varied and good. It was lovely to stay in a hotel that had real atmosphere . |

The service/staff. We received a friendly greeting and the staff went out of their way to show us our way to our room when we got lost and personally direct my partner to a parking space outside the hotel. The room was furnished and decorated well. The only thing that let our room down was the bathroom. I would have expected a cleaner bathroom (the tiles were stained and the shower head was dated) The TV was old and we didnt have all the channels... i would have expected a bit more luxury for the price i paid. |

It's situation, central to Bath The staff were ok but not particularly friendly or helpful. Dinner was poor and we, and another table, were offered 3 x 4 oz steaks when they had run out of sirloin steaks! The menu choice was poor and very limited. |

Local to the sites of Bath. Very good breakfast. Friendly staff. Heating did not work so we needed an electric heater to be added to the room. The windows did not close properly and the net curtains were dirty. |

Staff went out of their way to accomodate us and to try and rectify problems. Breakfast is very good. Room far too warm and air conditioniong broken. Feather pillows caused allergy problems. Unable to open window. |

Old fashioned hotel, with very noisy floorboards! Good breakfast and excellent location in the city. We stayed on 1st floor. I think the 49ers were checking out of the room above on our first morning - poor sound insulation due to age of hotel building. |

The location was great. I enjoyed the restaurant, it has added light meals on the menu since my last visit which suited me better. The television ariel socket was faulty which made the reception bad. |

Reception and serving staff were extremely friendly and helpful, some of the best I have ever encountered. The location was perfect for seeing all that Bath has to offer. The hotel was extremely tired, our room was not becoming of a hotel of such stature as opposed to the price that we paid. |

The location in the city is excellent. I paid £149.00 for a "Superior" room. I was told the rooms had been refurbished. I had a tv that was at least 25 years old, no satellite and no wi-fi. I get better equipment and sevices in rooms costing a third of this. If this room had been refurbished and was "Superior" I'm very glad I didn't take the standard room. Probably would have to use candles. |

This hotel is within a short walking distance from the centre of Bath. Make sure you ask for a refurbished room when booking. The hotel is generally comfortable with spacious dining and public areas. Our allocated room was too hot and we were offered a cooler room with a window that could be opened. Guests are charged an additional £12 per night to park their car in the hotel car park. |
