The accommodation is good and novel in the cottage approach, the food was good for both dinner and breakfast and all the staff very friendly and helpful. We were in room 8, the bed as far from comfortable and very creaky when one person wished to get up in the night. The floors creak very badly particularly on the threshold ov=f the bathroom! |

We very much enjoyed our contact with the staff. The hotel was quiet and welcoming. The evening menu was limited, we understand that the main chef was away so this may have accounted for this. |

A friendly welcome and a good range of food on the menu. The breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The bathroom had carpet on the floor which is unhygienic and needed updating, especially shower cubicle grouting. However, it was clean and servicable. |

Staff were helpful and friendly. The room was big with a comfortable bed. The floors were laminate and being in a downstairs room we could hear people in the upstair room moving around clearly. |

The location and views were excellent. The accommodation block was very well sited adjacent to the hotel which also served as the village pub. We did not know that an indoor swimming pool was available.The room was in a poor state - running tap - flies/midges on the walls - brocken peddle bin - no offer of help to take our cases up two flights of stairs. |

It was really relaxing , the atmosphere as soon as we arrived was very welcoming. my daughter and I arrived late and restaurant was just closing but they very kindly served us dinner which was lovely especially the caramel custard desert !!! the veiws from our room were outstanding and we spent the morning in the swiming pool and sunbathing .oh and the rudge fudge was delicious!! |

Bar staff were very helpful, room was very clean, hotel was in quiet location. Room was in an external annexe reached via an unlit ramp and dark courtyard. Very Small room and small bed, more like single than double. No spare towels or pillows in room. Thin walls. Restaurant was chaotic, had to find own table and fetch waitress. No side plates for bread and no table cloths. Food OK without being outstanding. Restaurant bill was not itemised on departure. |
