We`ve been at Generator in Copenhagen. It was amazing! Here in London wasn't so excellent as in Copenhagen, but still pretty good!
Everything. The Generator is really close to everything. When something is far, you can go to the Underground or Train just by walking for some 5 minutes. It is also a really big hostel, with a great bar, some nice places to rest, good laundry service, and a lot of other awesome things.
The people, the showers, the beds and the location!
It was my first time in a hostel and I said that if every hostel is like Generator, I'll never stay at hotel again. It is a really cool hostel, its bar and the people there was very friendly. We even didn't want to leave the hostel one night. Also it is really close to metro station and in a safe neighbourhood.
The only problem was the size of the room I guess. Rooms were really small that we couldn't get ready all together. Also the smoking area was far from the hostel. But these things can not counted as problem. If you want to stay cheaper and have a hostel experience, Generator is the best.
Quite close to British Museum. Tap inside the room is very convenience. The room is clean and comfortable. Large common area with enough plug.
Only one washroom on each floor. It is very inconvenience that I need to walk far away for toilet and shower.
It was my third stay here and I'll stay here again when I go to London next time. The toilets are very clean and atmosphere is very nice and it's secure as well.
The staff and the hostel are really nice, and there's a lot to to in the hostel. The hostel is also in a really nice neighborhood, close to a lot of turistic atractions, subway and restaurants!
There wasn't any bad experiences.
Staff were friendly and the whole place was fun. Facilities in room were basic but spot on. Excellent value.
Atmosphere, bed comfy, very friendly staff
Not being able to adjust the heater in the room
The facilities were good and clean and the location was excellent for the price
my experience at generator hostel was generally really good except for the noise. Wifi worked well and thw service provided by the staff were good as well. the tube station was only a 5 min walk away and the neighbourhood was nice and quiet. I do recommend this place to others!
the bar open until 2 pm
Great place to stay to explore London, Walking distances to almost everywhere. 3 minutes walk from Russel square tube. Great places around to eat. Good food in the bar. Really friendly staff. Very crean. Ahh! Great wifi even at the bed!!
Doesn't include breakfast!! in most hostel are included by now! Its need some lights and plug at the bed!
Good choice to be closed to city centre. New, clean & nice
just for the first time won't find it easily. Nothing worthy really
Maybe can be expensive 5 £ for the towel and 5 £ more fot the late check out
The hostel activities. Cleanliness.
The bathrooms, no where to hang clothes inside the shower. Not even a cubicle, just a basic shower curtain. House keeping entered our room with barely a knock, once when I was getting changed. Reception staff were cold and nasty, very unhelpful. Room was too hot and we couldn't control the temperature without opening all of the windows to noise. Dangerous fixtures in the room that we kept hitting our heads on.
Quick check in good rooms
Bed covers were on the floor of the room, chewing gum in sink, no where to put your clothes /towel while showering
Accommodation was superb, without any faults. The addition of various areas to hang out depending on your mood is a great supplement that one rarely finds elsewhere while travelling. That's not to mention the price or food. Also some pretty damn good coffee, coming from the coffee-elitist culture of Melbourne :P
I think its really depend on the room member. This time I'm so lucky. They are kind, funny and clean use. Stuff also kind.
Wi-Fi was heavy. Shower doesn't work well.
wifi is good, lounge facility
bathroom is always wet and room is smelly
Clean, really near Russell Square underground, easy access to everywhere in London. Close to brunswick where you find waitrose and some restaurants. A really nice area to stay in.
Shower cubicle was really small, no hook to hang clothes. Basically you can't change in the cubicle, very inconvenient.
the space is a little small.
The staff was extremely likely and atencious, the bar is great as well the cafe
Very small showers
Wifi connection stable and fast in the rooms Self service laundry 24hrs
There are not plugs and individual lights in every bed. You can imagine that a room with 10 people with only one light in the ceiling it's not the best idea. Also, there were only 4 plus for 10 people in the room. In the bathroom the showers space flooded and everything was a mess really quickly.
