Location to where I was working, price of the room which incuded breakfast and the fact that the room had a good heating system. The shower cubical had heavy mould growth on the ceiling. The bedding, although laundered, had various marks and stains and looked well past it's sell by date. Breakfast was just acceptable but most of the items had been cooked and left standing for some time. For cheap overnight accomodation for business I would recommend but wouldn't for holidays or other. |

I found it interesting. It has been method studied to the hilt and is minimalistic. No marmalade at Breakfast. Bathroom good. Downmarket feeling. It stank of cigaret smoke, espicially the room. Bed very lumpy. Toweling worn out. |

the room we were allocated was unclean it smelt very strongly of smoking , recently there was dust everywhere even the kettle lid was filthy, the television did not function properly( Why we went to the room early was my partner was feeling unwell after along journey Two staff members tried for 2 hours to get a picture but to no avail. I then asked to see the manager who then offered us another room. This was slightly better but it was in a very grubby state cobwebs hanging in the windows behind the curtains sash cords broken could not open window and stains on bedspread all of which I have taken photos of and will use them if I have to. I hope that I get some form of recompensation for my experiences yours Sincerely Michael Walt |

good parking area staff were welcoming and although it is a very busy pub with karioke it did not disturb the hotel guests if they did not want to join in we were a bit disappointed with the menu and dining area good pub grub but we did not feel it was a resturant no table linen ect |

The staff were very friendly and helpful. In need of new carpets, it appeared dark and dingy and not at all inviting. The wall paper was peeling off my bedroom wall,I would not stay again, nor would I recommend it. |

Nice and cosy hotel, with good food and nice pub The heating in our room was full open so it was much to hot in our room concidering it was mid august! Even though we asked several times if someone could fix the problem, no one came. |

Nothing. It was abysmal, filthy and depressing and resulted in my husband and I leaving a night early. The thought of returning to that disgusting place made me very unhappy. We went to Winchester and stayed in a wondeful clean hotel which cost less than the George. My husband and I hated everything. Even the egg with the 'full english' was raw! It just got worse and worse... |

Very little to be honest - best thing was the Hotels location. So many poor elements. We booked the Honeymoon suite which was nothing short of filthy - we have picures of the cpobwebs on the bed, dirt on the toilet and floor and generally poorstate of cleaning. The matress was from somewhere around the 1970's and gave me and my fiance terrible back pain in th morning from springs sticking out all over the bed. |

I liked the fact that when I had a problem with the reservation I had made, they solved it immediately. I thought I had booked a double room but I booked a twin room instead. I was travelling with my girlfriend and they sorted the problem out and gave us a double room. |

Closeness to Stonehenge and Salisbury. Room was excellent in terms of size, comfort etc. The disco in the hotel across the road was very loud and went on until 2am |
