The location was good and the staff could not do enough for you. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice and all cooked to order. Rooms were excellent with all the usual facilities. Decor was good and modern. Papers were available, |

Helpful and friendly staff. Good restaurant.. Very good room, both in size and cleanliness. Placing of TV in room (very high up on wall bracket). Very difficult to watch. Could see no reason to mount on wall as plenty of space to have freestanding. No radio in room. |

Very friendly staff. Resturant next door for convienence for a business person and an easy 10 minute walk into the city centre. It wasn't a dislike, but the rooms could have been updated - One assumes that these will be next on their list as it didn't fit in with what they had done downstairs, which was very stylish. But still good rooms for the price. Update the rooms and I would expect the price per night will increase and it still would be worth it. |

Staff offered excellent service and were very helpful. Room was small & claustrophobic. For the same price we got a room in the Maid's Head hotel which was a conventional size for a 3*** to 4**** hotel with en-suite, also of course better placed for the city centre, though that did not matter so much to us.My wife, an aesthetic person, found that the mixture of '60s, '70s & '80s decor, coupled with the bright purple upholstery, was very discordant. She opines that the interior designer responsible should be put down! Btw we chose the hotel because of availability, partly because of location. |

Clean comfortable rooms, big garden, relaxed atmosphere, free parking, very close to Norwich centre. All you would want for a weekend city break. Very good value due to internet special offer! Only minor things: TV remote control didn't work & breakfast would be better if there was coffee / tea was self-service facility. |

the convenience of city centre very noisy, room located next to beer garden.long wait for breakfast over 40 minutes, gave up in the end and went out to eat.a lot of guests complaining.went home early and did not stay the extra free night because of noisy room and lack of privacy.staff backwards and forwards past window for ciggerette breaks and to get to storeroom. |

we found the location of the hotel ideal for our needs, the room was very clean and quiet.all in all we enjoyed our stay and would recomend it to friends and family. we found the food in the restaurant good but too expensive compared with restaurants nearby where the food was as good or better but at least 10 to 15 pounds for two people cheaper. |

Staff attitudes were exemplary. Restaurant food is variable, but rather expensive. Steaks were excellent. The fish I had (red mullet) was not very fresh - probably frozen. Parking was chaotic. My room (31) lacked a shaver socket in the bathroom. The washbasin mirror was set too low - I could only see my chin. TV was too small and poorly placed. Could only have one key. There are no grab handles on the bath nor is an anti-slip mat provided. Bath towels are too small. Need I say more. |

Very clean well presented room, friendly, helpful staff, lovely restaurant with good food, good location to get to Norwich centre. Would have liked a radio in room or freeview which would provide the radio stations via tv and decent reading light over/by bed. In future would request room at back of hotel and not over bar, music in bar could be heard in room till after midnight, also busy noisy road at front. |

The staffs in the restraint at breakfast were very accommodating at all times. There was a very relaxed atmosphere through out the hotel which made our stay more pleasant. The decoration in our room looked tiered, i.e. cracks in the bedroom wall separating the bathroom, the bathroom window needed repainting and the grout around the top of the toilet was missing along with other areas in the bathroom. |
