Staff very welcoming. Breakfast was great. Very comfy bed. Location good in walking distance to Blackpool attractions or very near tram stop.

Friendly and welcoming host who was also unobtrusive. Clean and well presented accommodation. Plentiful cooked breakfast that was well presented and not at all greasy. Good value for money and in a quiet location. Doesn't allow hen or stag parties.

Bbc channels not working...although that was no big deal as I wasn't there to watch tv. No soap or shower gel (hand soap and shampoo is provided) but that may be normal for a b&B.

The Guest house was spotlessly clean. Everything was top class. The rooms were the quietest I have stayed in Blackpool.

We had a lovely stay at the golden sands the hotel is nice an clean. The breakfast was lovely. It is a good walk into the town though but you can easily jump on the tram or bus.

The Cleanliness, quietness, comfortable bed, bright and airy. Service was good although we never made it to breakfast.

From the moment we arrived, we felt comfortable. The place was spotless and well equipped with full size fridge and mini bottle of wine. The breakfast was delicious, nothing was too much trouble, our 2 yr old is still asking where the nice lady is at breakfast time.

The only negative is it is a long way from everything, but it was quiet and thats quite a feat in blackpool. We managed hopping on and off the buses and the trams, altho the trams r not as regular as they used to be. The day saver @ £4.50 each lets u use both until the last service. So altho it is far out it suited us as we value quiet nights.

On arrival, me and my 2 small children were greeted by very friendly and welcoming hosts. We were shown to a beautiful room and immediately decided to stay for an extra night (we were booked in for 2 nights, but made it 3). We slept comfortably and quietly. Breakfast was of the highest standard and was delicious....Even tempting my fussy toddler! Our hosts were wonderful. Sylvia could not do enough for us. Whilst being un-intrusive, she was on hand if we needed anything at all and was helpful with local knowledge. I have stayed in many B&B's in the past, but this is by far my favorite. I will certainly be booking here again on our next trip to Blackpool. I highly recommend The Golden Sands for quality, friendliness and unbeatable value for money without cutting corners to do so. Lovely people and a lovely place.

There is nothing we did not like.

Excellent value for money, clean, well decorated, staff very helpful and friendly. Very good breakfast that was all made as ordered. Beds very comfortable (although double a bit squeaky).

No parking, however trams are excellent and station very close and lots of on street parking nearby.

A very clean comfortable warm guest house with an excellant breakfast that set you up for the day.Close to the seafront yet quiet which meant you had a good nights sleep in nice comfy beds.Sylvia the owner was very nice and made you feel very welcome. Will definately be visiting Golden Sands again.

Everything was good nothing to dislike.

I loved the furnishings, gentle ways of the hoteliers, their kindness, attention to detail and fine catering. Mine was a wonderful cozy room with comfortable bed, en suite shower/toilet, lovely mirrors! in quiet house/location close to promenade. Extra treats like electric kettle and tea/coffe and wine made it welcoming and relaxing, perfect for a weekend away from home.

I like a soft fairly slim pillow. However, those in my room [No 4] were were a bit too fat/firm. I selected the thinner of the two which unfortunately nevertheless had pricky feathers. The other problem for me was that the TV, though apparently newly installed, was incapable of receiving a signal. This problem was reported was not not capable of rectification apparently because it was a weekend.

This is by far the best B&B I stay in on all my travels. If you're going to Blackpool then you HAVE to stay here. x

Was a really nice b&b it was really clean and the owners were freindly and helpfull. room was a good size with, relaxing and modern decor. Barging rates Will stay again if visit blackpool.

if had to be picky bed a little squeaky but made up for that in comfort.
