Disappointing-didn't look anywhere as classy as it did online.Room small,depressing and rather scruffy.view not nice,area not nice,noisy disco downstairs,people shouting and screaming outside until late.Didn't say online breakfast available at weekend inclusive only continental so didn't bother.Rather seedy-wanted to get out of there as soon as I set foot in it. |

Very helpful staff, comfortable ambience. Attractive foyer bar entrance etc. Excellent breakfast, all well organised Felt room bathroom facilities quite basic. Better tv soaps toiletries etc would help |

The downstirs lobby area is lovely--relaxing Downstairs is lovely and I had high expectations of my room.What a disapointment.Small single--without even a valance over the base .Room was like a poor b and b. but bathroom good.Carpet in hallway worn and poor.I stayed in room 307.A travelodge room would have been better.Very disapointed and will not use again.but downstairs all it should be. |

Very friendly and attentive staff and excellent deal on breakfast - free Continental breakfast at weekends. The surrounding area was a bit noisy with a lot of bars. |

Nothing in particular stands out from others Second floor in need of upgrading. Corrider has loose dipping floorboards and somebody is going to trip on this or the carpet which is all wavey. Also cleaning staff on second floor leave the vacuum cleaner right across the corrider which is dangerous and when suggested they move it I just got a look. This is the third visit this has happened |

The location i thought the room was very dark, not in an atmospheric way. There was very obvious damp in one corner. When wet the bathroom floor was dangerously slippy. The breakfast area are was badly organised and a little confusing, but the service was ok |

I did not get the designer room i booked for. I was told that the room alloted to me had some leakage and was downgraded to a standard room, which was terrible. But what upset me was, someone checked in adter me and were upgraded to a suite. When i questioned them, the explanation was just rubbish as i had witnessed the upgrade and I do not believe them. Also, while billing the next day, they first billed me the booked rate of gbp 145 instaed of the alloted room rate of gbp 85. This was after clearly telling the check in staff to tell the next shift staff of this change in rate. Hotel staff were all sweet and smiling, but they go ahead and do what they want!!! |

The staff were particularly helpful. The public areas were upgraded but the room was an extreme dissapointment There was no overhead light in the room and the lamp was not working. I was trying to find things in the dark the first night. The duvet cover was ripped on the inside. The carpet was not hoovered the 1st day. The floors in the hall were very uneven and I twisted my ankle. There was absolutely no parking. |

hotel staff quick to resolve issue of swipe card not opening door and urgency when my wife had difficulty in operating shower. as the car parking facilities were negligable I would not recommend hotel to some one who had a car. |

Very conveniently situated close to railway and bus stations and to the main street. Easily accessed from the airport by public transport. The dining table tops were at a strangely high level, above normal height. |

The entrance to the hotel was very well done, new contemporary style. Once upstairs where the actual rooms are it was like stepping back into 1970. The location is in a bit of a rough neighborhood. Rooms are clean enough, just in real need of an update. |

the room was very comfortable and modern, did not manage to fing the tea and coffee facilites though we did not like the fact that there was no parking close by apart from the Railway Station which we had to pay to a chap to leave on the Sunday a cost of £24 for an overnight stay which were not happy about at all. |

The staff were friendly and quick regarding the service I received as a guest. The hotel is near to the train station which is good for a female travelling alone for safety. The room was not to my liking, it appeared old fashioned and the shower was not in the same room as the WC and wash hand basin. I think I would have liked to have known this before booking that particular room. |

The design features on this hotel were well thought of and designed to a high standard. The first room was above the libary,in which there was a party in on the evening,on complaining this was resolved by moving rooms. |

Staff were attentive and responsive to crtiticisms. Bathroom was appalling: broken tiles, damaged and peeling paintwork; chipped bath, non-functioning shower and hot tp in washbasin. Drawn to attention of staff who arranged a substantial discount on this account. Location is not good at present; it is central but the road is host to construction work.No car parking facility. |
