The staff were fantastic. Situation is very very good. The place overall is pretty quirky but it all works. I was in Bolthole which has a crazy bathroom. It's a wet room actually functioned well. Bed whilst small was comfortable

The price! But that's Aberdeen. Under Roomes and over demand.

Decor too dark. When we booked it said breakfast would be £6 each but we were charged £12.50 each! Then with your parking charges on top of that it worked out expensive for us that's why we would,t return again.

Staff changed my room from a basic twin to a double at no charge. They were very helpful and when I checked out they advised there would be a £19 charge against my room. Despite changing rooms I hadn't ordered or done anything so they took care of that.

My room was too hot, I couldnt turn down or off the heating! Very noisy at night with partygoers and some sort of bottle bank collection at 11pm? Too hot and too noisey in my particular room 311?

Problem with bill:- took 2 attempts to convince receptionist of the price I had been quoted. Thankfully I had a print off with me or I don't think she would have believed me. She eventually got hotel copy of booking and then believed me!

For a double room we only had one bathtowel, and it was dull in the room unless all the lights were on.

Quirky cozy and intimate.

Room and bedding were clean. I attended the evening party (Prohibition theme) with my work colleagues for our Christmas night out. The meal was pretty good, although it took ages for them to get the meals out, and portions were on the small side. I liked the Charleston dance shows the staff performed. It might have been nice to have been taught some.

Very, very, VERY noisy! I stayed overnight to be able to drink at the evening do, and my room (310) window was facing a (very echo-ey) alleyway, where another bar (Hen House) was located. Shouting, screaming, and vomiting occured outside below my window all night long. I could hear it all. Loud noise continued through to after 4.30am, keeping me from sleeping at all. I left the Hotel at 5am, I couldn't wait to get away to my own home and sleep. I was also disappointed that when I was checking out, and asked at the desk for the discount for the overnight stay/party combo price (should have been £35 as one of my colleagues paid), the man at the desk "didn't know anything about that". As I had booked at £49 for the night, and I was too exhausted to push for anything else, I just paid and left. I would recommend that the windows need to be double-glazed to soundproof the rooms from outside noise.
