Good Breakfast with Hot Plates! Well stocked Bar service Management did their best to make us welcome Only a few other guests during our stay. Hotel therefore had no atmosphere. No evening entertainment. Due to lack of other guests an evening meal, sandwiches etc were not available

Exceptionally friendly staff. Travelled by motorbike and was invited to park my bike safely offroad right outide the restaurant window. Good room, location, properly hot shower, excellent food, pretty much everything I would want when away from home. No downsides, from the warm welcome to the fond farewell this is a well run friendly establishment that I will return to.

Friendly, helpful and informal. The hotel bedroom although ready for a facelift was really clean and the beds comfortable. We really felt it was good value for the price. The public areas where clean and the hotel provided entertainment. Would we stay at the Grand Ash Llandudno again. Yes. The bathroom. Room 3.The space between wall and bath was inadequate for a w.c. Very tight and not helped by large toilet roll holder.

The rooms where a good size, nice and clean. Breakfast was lovely. Was made to feel welcome.local to shops, pubs and resturants. Parking was just outside.

The only good thing was the location, slap bang in the middle of Llandudno. Parking was ok on the main street. Small room, seriously out-dated and dingy. Really wish I had spent an extra tenner and booked the b&b I was going to which is so much nicer, only went for this as money is tight at the moment but really regret not paying the extra for a much nicer stay.

Close to the town centre and free parking on the stret outside the hotel. Very basic but clean, Room very small but for £40 for a night was ok. At checkin we were told nothing about the hotel. We were handed a key and left alone to fill in the registration card. We were not even told where our room was. Check out is by 10am, which we were not told and we had the deputy manager knocking on the door at 10.15 telling us to get out.

Friendly and comfortable hotel. Very good value for money in the off- season. Very close to the seafront, Great Orme and shops/restaurants in Llandudno. The Grand Ash is a great hotel for value for money, location and friendliness, however, it could be seen a bit 'tired' and dated with regard to décor. That said, my en suite bathroom was brand new!

location. able to check in early that specified time. rude waitress's at breakfast. asked for a bottle of water and she refused as the 'bar' wasnt open. couldnt get out after 11.30 for cigarette.

The location, the room was warm The hotel is tatty and in need of a total refbishment. In terms of decor, the dining room was one of the worst I have ever eaten in. The room we stayed in was small, the bed was lumpy, and although clean, the bed linen had a tea/coffee stain on it. The toilet seat was also loose. The hotel is more Ash than Grand.

Location very good. No table available for breakfast we were put to sit in the bar on our own. Bathroom very dated, no shower, large crack running along the side bath panel. Bedroom door left open by maids all day. Tv in room so small even with glasses on struggled to watch it. Whole hotel very tired and needs updating.

The location was good and the staff were friendly. The hotel room had not been painted or papered in years and it showed, the room was dated and tired. The poached egg breakfast appeared to have been cooked hours earlier because the eggs were very hard. We would not recommend it based on the room we were allocated.

The hotel staff were very friendly, and breakfast was great- really quick even though they were busy. The hotel is really good value for money and in an excellent location. The hotel it slightly worn out with dated decor but I would definately recommend it for somewhere to use as a base and, as said before, it is good value for money.

The easy walking distance to seafront,attractions shops etc. The lift to our rooms on the 3rd floor. Small room size even for a single.Poor operation of the shower. No lounge with comfortable chairs to relax in and separate from the one bar- lounge.More seats outside in the front yard,there was only one.The place was much in need of refurbishment.
