Location near pubs, restaurants and pier. Coffee & tea facilities at the room. Free car park on the street.
Very small room with short, uncomfortable bed. Wi-fi doesn`t work. Fan in bathroom was dusty. Damp on the tiles in bathroom. Walls in bedroom needs repainting (redecorating). Walls very thin and You can hear every single word from room next to you.
all that was good about our stay was leaveing.
going home after two days of no sleep. load music from next hote.
Staff and location
Staff were very helpful... But main entrance not secure. Room was dirty, dusty on lamp shades, shower head was insecure Too many issues to list
Close to town center, and all night life, Clean and comfortable beds
Its ok for a short stay with friends, good value for the location, get what you pay for.
It was like going back to the 70's! In need of a refurbishment asap! Smelt mouldy and damp in the hall. When we got in the room, there were damp and mould marks all over the walls, the wallpaper was peeling and when we went to turn out the lights, to our surprise a massive slug was on the wall!!!!! Absolutely disgusting!!! The wall was wet so no wonder there are creatures in there.
The location of this hotel and the friendly staff are the only positive points for me about this hotel !
The smell when you first walk in was not pleasant like a dampy musty aroma . We were directed to our room , as soon as you get onto the corridor every floor board squeaks and the doors don't seem to be so secure . The walls are paper thin with the wallpaper peeling of in several different places . We noticed that the floor boards inside the room where also extremely nosey and also appeared to be going in 2 places meaning it felt like there where holes in the floor !! The bed squeaks at each tiny movement. We found dirty face wipes covered in make up on the window ledge.... The bathroom ! We had a shower that was held together by a clear plastic sandwich bag to hold the shower pipe in place and to stop a leak . You had to shower using the shower head in your hand as the wall attachment it should have been sitting on was snapped . The toliet was clean altought the extremely cheap looking toilet seats seem very dated . You can hear everyone else on the corridor coming and going and also the you can hear every bed movement of the room above and when they are walking around . All in all I would not recommend this hotel !! Also they did fail to tell us we would be staying at a building site as this hotel is currently under going work on the front of the hotel
Very central accommodation at a very reasonable price.
staff were very good.breakfast was also very good.
very small room creaky bed.the toilet paper was the worst I have ever used the bathroom was tiny with a sliding door that was hard to close.oh for bath'
Dirty bathroom and carpets Noise levels from inside and outside the hotel Cheap coffee
Location, breakfast, price
Lack of parking and shower was pretty useless.
The matteress was hard
Cooked breakfast is all grilled - tastes great
Location was good Staff very friendly Food good Good sized rooms Very clean and tidy Lift
Uncomfortable beds Bathroom to small for bath and loo No telephone No wifi even though said free wifi
we had two single rooms which were large enough, good tv,bath and shower always hot, comfy bed room was clean with tea and coffee in room. very good value for money, very good food
a bit noisy from neighbours but so what did not have to get up for work.
It was central to everything! All you want was just a short walk away including beach, all the shops, pubs etc. Room clean and beds comfortable
The hotel is very old and there was a very musty/damp smell on our corridor and slightly in our room. It helped opening the window though!
very noisy from other visitors
Location was really good for the town, the two local beaches, public transport and parking.
The whole place would benefit from a refurbishment programme as it was very dated and well used. Staff seemed to think that rain water leaking into the bedroom was a normal occurrence and nothing to worry about!
Whole place needs refurb.
amazing value and location for all parts of llandudno and public transport surrounding areas.
The view out of the window.
There was a new member of staff at this hotel. The manager had not given him any training. The poor man hadn't got a clue. Poor management skills! The hotel was tired and needs up dating. Only + point good value on the hotel price. There was building work going on which I wasn't informed of before booking
Hotel is situated in perfect place. Not too far and not too close to sea side and main attractions. Staff are soo lovely! really enjoyed my stay there.
Could hear everything through all walls and all floors around us. Bed seemed comfortable, but did not have a good night sleep. It wasn't perfectly clean, at least for the price. It was acceptable tho.
Location, value, breakfast, helpful staff, ease of access, free parking, Llandudno! We always look for somewhere clean and comfortable and The Grand Ashmeets both criteria.
Room we had is a fire exit route so people would have come through in an emergency! Scaffolding outside is a distraction and hotel is tired in places but is being refurbished.
not much about it.
the bathroom was leaking.they had a building work.there was a emergency light in the room which stop me from sleeping
Staff friendly welcoming Clean & tidy place Good nights stay
Small Rooms with uncomfortable beds
