Very good breakfast and live football on TV in the bar. The room (304) was a little small for a three night stay.

We very much enjoyed our two night stay here on our wedding anniversary. The staff were very friendly, the room was clean and considering we were located directly opposite the station there was virtually no noise. Looking forward to our next visit there.

it was value for money the room smelt funny, there seemed to be no cold water from the tap, the room was stuffy as you couldn't open the window and there was a short and curly hair on the wall in the bathroom (yuk)

Lovely room. Very large. Well designed. Near to shops and bars. Very pleasant and Helpful reception staff. They preauthorised extra £50 on top of room price as a "deposit". Only breakfast offered cost £17. No option for smaller breakfasts. Like me not everyone wants a huge breakfast and not providing alternative is not good and loses them custom. I went elsewhere for my breakfast. So did all my friends.

For the price rooms were clean.comfortable etc. However no wardrobes just a hanging. Just a hanging rail in the room no wardrobe (not a problem reaaly). However no hangers at all staff had to go in search. Breakfast - ingredients ok but they way they were cooked. Not the way to present cockles and laverbread one look and no one would try them!

The room was adequate and comfortable. Shower good. Staff very friendly and helpful. The bistro was horrific. I was tired and wanted an early night. Apart from room service (£5 extra on an over priced menu) this was the only option to eat on the premises. There was rugby showing on TV (very, very loudly) and the bar was full of obnoxious, shouting drunks. I did eat there but found the whole episode deeply unrelaxing, not helped by the fact that the food was just short of average.

Its central location. The staff on reception and in the breakfast restaurant were pleasant and helpful. On arrival the bar and forecourt were full of drinkers/ football supporters, maybe waiting for trains as the hotel is right opposite the station entrance. Later and on Sunday morning it was quieter. The room, although clean, with a comfortable bed, was very basically furnished - only one chair, no coat hangers or shelves or drawers for clothes (except for 2 very small bedside drawers). There was no heater in the bathroom, so it was too cold to shower.

The hot water in my room didn't work. After phoning reception 3 times to report the problem, they brought a key to the unoccupied next door and I showered and shaved there ... far from ideal!!

To be honest I was just about to make a complaint. When wevarived the hotel bar was packed full of rowdy football supporters, I had imagined like most nice hotels the bar would be guest exclusive. The reception had a strong smell of sewerage for two days. The room was meant to be an executive room but was very tired looking, bed linen was warn and old. The furnature had digs in it and trim missing. The balcony furnature was old and dirty looking, there were trailing cables and connectors across walkways making trip hazards( I am an H&S consultant!) what I saw gave me cause for concern. I have pictures to support my case but to be honest I think it was a complete waste of money. We tried to get out of the hotel for this reason but was confronted with either football yobs or down and outs or drunken kids smashing glasses and hurling abuse. I went through booking.com because I thought it would give me peace of mind as to the quality and setting of the hotel but was bitterly disappointed. I wish to raise a formal complaint and request a refund by way of compensation for what turned out to be a very dissapointing and wasted Easter break.

Location and the standard of the hotel. Would highly recommend it to anyone that required a hotel in Swansea. Couldn't find any fault but would have liked an alarm clock in the room.
