The main perpose of our visit was to see the Falkirk Kelpies. The location of the hotel was perfect for this as they were only a short walk away. The room was comfortable, breakfast very good and Cooks restaurant linked to the Hotel was also perfect.
Nothing apart from the view of the ASDA sign from our window.
Friendly helpful staff. Large room with all we needed A good shower
Pleasant staff, beautiful surroundings, quiet area, clean and comfortable bedroom, breakfast was included in the room price which was excellent overall cannot fault this hotel.
Food very poor
Friendly welcome Breakfast was the best
Spacious room Excellent value for money
Mistakes in charging Slow breakfast service
This hotel was great, the room was lovely, the staff were lovely and the food was excellent! It was great value for money.
Staff really friendly and welcoming. Hotel in ideal location to access local tourist attractions especially The Kelpies which are within walking distance. Food at nearby Cooks excellent as was breakfast in hotel. Garden room very spacious, clean & comfortable. Overall a lovely place just don't be put off by location.
Shower a problem as it fluctuated between scalding hot & cold then was fine for a few minutes then went hot again. Reported this to staff who were going to deal with this. Otherwise very comfortable facilities.
Breakfast was great even for my fussy 6 year old, staff very friendly and nothing to much trouble
Little noisy from road traffic
The room was good - spacious and comfortable. Good breakfast service
Non-existent signage to guide us from reception to bedrooms. Very slow lift, seemed like it wasn't working. TV in room was awful, poor signal or streaming capacity. No bedside lamp on one side.
Excellent staff, good breakfast, and a quiet location.
The bath water fluctuated from scalding to cold.
Everything was superb
Excellent breakfast. Large room. Helpful staff.
Wifi poor - connection regularly failed in bedroom. Shower temperature would inexplicably vary and become very hot - dangerous for a young child.
The room was enormous and even had a bathtub. The breakfast room was incredible and the food excellent. It has huge windows looking out to immaculate gardens.
Staff very friendly and helpful, really enjoyed the food at Cook's where again the staff were very courteous and friendly. Staff very knowledgeable about Coeliac and could adapt almost everything on the menu to be Gluten free. Breakfast in hotel excellent, and cooked to order.
Nothing to dislike about this hotel.
Spacious, comfy, spotlessly clean room. Very friendly staff. Lovely breakfast and dinner.
We stayed in the Garden Wing which means you have to walk outside to get to the breakfast room in the main hotel building. Not a problem this stay as weather was lovely but if it is raining/stormy etc then you have to hope you remembered to pack a brolly!!
Excellent restaurant breakfast was very good big rooms
Old fashioned furniture, but seems to be standard in that region
Hotels Location. The Kelpies is within walking distance of the hotel and The Falkirk Wheel a short drive away, Good choice of food for breakfast.
Choice of Black coloured valance on bed. Just wondered what it might be hiding!! House keeping could be better. Reason Crumbs under glass on dressing table and also crumbs in tea caddie. Legs of some breakfast rooms chairs in need of cleaning.
This is a more formal hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was very good.
This hotel is quite close to the A9 and there is some traffic noise.
We liked the friendliness of the staff , the room was very nice and we enjoyed the choice for our breakfast, also we enjoyed our evening meals at the cooks restaurant . We would recommend this to anyone and should we come to Falkirk again we will book with you thank you
location excellent, food very good albeit restrictve in choice. Easy to find and park. All staff coureous and helpful. checkin/out speedy and fuss-free.
Picky, but my packed lunch I ordered was not as I ordered. would like to see more choice on menu especially fish as this is scarcely listed.
great location in walking distance from the Kelpies and the Helix, about 15min drive to the Wheel. The Cook restaurant was great, loved the food and also had a litlle terrace outside which was very good for the lovely wheather we had.
When asked the reception girl if she could recommend a good seafood restaurant ,she said she has no idea.
Shared some lovely chats with the staff. Very friendly and helpful with tourist information. Also helped me in researching my family's history in Falkirk. Thankyou to you all.
I did like the spacious room & bathroom.
I did need to ask for drinking chocolate & fresh milk, which were supposed to be in room. Fortunately only 1 morning that I was there, it rained, otherwise the walk outside to the restaurant was questionable from my room.
Friendly staff, everything we needed was in the room, and we had a lovely meal at the restaurant beside the hotel.
