The TV had a problem with the BBC Channel's, but otherwise a comfortable stay.
Comfy bed an clean

Food was very good and the service was excellent. Breakfast was also very good.

Staff excellent as always stayed severall times as near grandson loves pool nar atmosphere good
Rooms ok but showing age
The hotel was really close for us to visit family. It was clean and comfortable. Nothing was a bother to the staff. We needed a few extra pillows and got them as soon as we asked. We didn't eat at the hotel so can't comment on the food. There were drinks machines and a garage right across the road. Would stay here again.
The wash hand basin was outside the bathroom which was a bit awkward but not much else to complain abt.
Very friendly staff excellent stay . Excellent value meals before 6 pm
Staff were great & very helpful. Breakfast was good, although food was not very warm. Had a lunchtime sandwich, which was good value & a generous portion (VG).
Bed was too hard for both of us & the whole place could to with a bit of a refurb
Large room comfy bed didn't make use of much else as just stayed over after our wedding
No residents bar. A lot of business put their way for our wedding but nothing complimentary a btl if prosecco in the room wouldn't av cost them the earth!!
No shower in the room. Duct tape covered where it had been. No warning at reception of this. Bath was not clean from previous guest.
Hotel is tired , decor needs updating
we visited this hotel over 2 years ago, and found it ok, however this time it was awful the room was dirty the shower un- usable due to no water pressure the bed lumpy, the whole hotel needed a good re-fit, we decided to try the pool area as this is why I booked the hotel allowing us to relax after a hard days work however the changing rooms were dirty the pool was not clean the paint was peeling off every where, I did give it the benefit of the job saying to myself that it would be cleaner on Sunday morning before leaving however I was wrong and on this occasion the doors to the outside were left ajar so the whole place was freezing I put this done to inadequate ventilation ( they were trying to reduce the condensation) As for the breakfast it was cold on both days and also in the restaurant the lighting was so dim you could not see to read a paper and this was commented on by several other guests. Thus from my review you will gather that this will be my last visit to this place! having driven up from Devon to visit clients. I grew up around this area and the Greyhound hotel was the best in the area at that time, I however feel now that through lack of investment it as fallen way below the standards it set all those years ago and other hotels or even motels have risen above it.
Pool, sauna etc , great atmosphere at thishotel , all staff very helpful & breakfast was amazing
The spa , gym and pool ...
Being kept awake both nights by banging music from the weddings being held there
Staff are efficient and helpful, even when busy.
An early call, but not really the hotel's fault.
Did not like the excessive use of awful air freshener in the room. Had to open windows to try to get rid of it. Bed very uncomfortable
But breakfast was a disappointment staff weren't organised and we had to keep asking for stuff and they ran out of a few things
Price, towels (far better than most), staff.
Somewhat tired and battered furniture. Decor (a wall to wall catacombe of dead, ie empty, house wine bottles). PS don't be fooled by the photo - the hotel is a modern building tacked onto the back of it.
