The Greyhound Hotel  

The breakfast was great and the pool facilities were good.

The room smelled a bit of smoke - we didn't really want a smoking room.

Comfortable bed

Pub stank of sewerage. No food availabe in pub although we were told it was. No wakeup call or paper arrived even though it was requested. Staff used our bank details for another couple booking out!!!

Shower was of a very poor quality despite looking modern

The room was quite big (family room) and very comfortable.The Breakfast is very generous and the staff very helpful and very nice.

Rooms were clean and very comfortable. Little things like an ironing bourd were provided in the room and shower gel in a dispencer rather than in little bottles.The staff were very helpfull and appeared to enjoy their work. The food was excellent and reasonably priced.

Parking was a little difficult at times and the non-smoking rule. I would have many more weekends away if it were not for this, even if I had to pay a little more for the room towards the extra cleaning cost that would be incurred.

Hotel room size

Continuous noise during the night in the hotel room from swimming pool I think and even noisier noise at 6.30am. Mouldy bread at breakfast. Hotel I'd not live up to " eat well, sleep well" motto.

Poor service at the bar. Only one bar tender. Waited 10 mins to be served.

The leisure facilities, we used the gym, pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi on both days, the staff were also very nice and pleasant.the food was also fine, although if you wish to sit in the restaurant, I would recommend booking, we couldn't get a table so sat through in the bar with our meal, which was very nice

I like the room which have more space and very clean

Great to have a nice relaxing bar area for a nice drink at the end of the day with an excellent choice of pub grub.

The lift was a bit grim, but none the less functional.

Location was ideal for visiting area friends in the area. Hotel staff were excellent and helpful. Restaurant food was good quality and breakfast was excellent.

Decor was looking slightly dated.

We always like the Greyhound and have stayed there several times. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are always excellent. The rest of the restaurant food is quite good except the carvery gets very dried up as it is put out so early.

The loo wouldn't flush without pumping but a man came straight away to fix it. However, it was still faulty. We should have asked for another room so that was our fault I suppose.

Staff were amazingly helpful Nothing too much bother At there suggestion upgraded to a mini break got 2 for 1 carvery first night and free bottle of wine second for £ 10 Well done them

El estado del hotel es perfecto

Lo lejo que esta de Liverpool, pero cuando lo reserve ya lo sabia e no puedo reclamar. Sivas de carro es perfecto.

General atmosphere, great staff and extremely handy for my visit

It was the closest I could get to the Bury Football ground that had a family room. Staff were ok. Food wasn't too bad.

Dirty room. Dust everywhere. Bar over priced. Attracted rough individuals in the bar.

Nice bright reception with friendly staff

Black mould all up the inside of the window inside the room. So bad I refused to stay.

The staff were really lovely and friendly.

The bed was a little uncomfortable however I have a bad back and suffer without my normal mattress. Wouldn't put me off going again.

A fantastic find.American suites great for families of up to 6 people.Pool is great,clean and warm,with steam room sauna and spa pool.Food-bar menu, restaurant menu and fab carvery.Drinks not expensive.

Checking out-would have liked to stay longer.
