Excellant value for money with all the facilities available. Smart Hotel and excellant breakfast. Location perfect. Haven bedroom could do with a re-furb and a decent T.V. would help - there was no instrucations. Also our car registration number was incorrect left with Reception and we received a parking fine in the post. After appealing this was cancelled but would suggest the Hotel give patrons a sticker to put in car window.

We both enjoyed our latest stay at The Haven. We felt we were looked after well, but have just a couple of points to make, as follows: Our stay this time was for 4 nights, and the shampoo/bath oils etc were not renewed, nor was there a lot of thought put in to replenishing the tea and coffee (not enough milk either!). The bath was incredibly small and not easy for my husband to get in and out of. We have stayed at The Haven before (and Harbour Heights too) as we visit several times each year to visit family who live in Sandbanks. We would certainly opt to stay at the Haven or Harbour Heights, but would hope to be given a room that was not so difficult to access - Room 341). It would also have been helpful if a member of staff had shown us to the room, and a little help with our luggage would have been much appreciated as there were a number of stairs and doors to cope with. In fact two days into our stay, I found two very elderly people wandering around our corridor looking for their room and getting rather upset. I hope the foregoing comments may be helpful. The hotel was in a great location, and the outside areas were very nice. The lounge and restaurant areas were very good and the staff were excellent. The only criticism i would have was the although the rooms were roomy the bed was only a standard double so could have easily accommodated a king size bed and the decor was dated other than that no complaints.

The location is well known to us and is in a totally stunning setting, some of the best views in England in my opinion. The bar and dining area were well positioned for maximum views. Parking was plentiful. The main communal areas of the hotel are excellent. Our room was quite small and very basic with a small bathroom and could have done with some TLC and updating. The bed was a bit lumpy and the bedding and pillows below average. The corridors leading to the bedrooms could have done with redecoration and this is at the start of the season.

The superb location at the end of the Sandbanks peninsula overlooking the sea and the entrance to Poole Harbour. It also has nice heated indoor and outdoor pools. The hotel is built as a square with a central service area and my single room overlooked this area so there was no view at all and at times of the day it is quite noisy from a extraction unit and from staff throwing rubbish into bins. Also during my stay scaffolding was been erected. In fairness however it is quiet after 10.30 P.m Whilst the room was modern it would benefit from an easy chair and also double glazing My advice to anyone considering the Haven is make sure you book an outside room even if only overlooks the car park

The location was excellent and the hotel was in a really nice spot to enjoy the delights of Sandbanks. We changed rooms when we arrived as we really wanted a sea view the staff could not do enough to accommodate our request which made our stay even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone to enhance your Sandbanks stay. If I was to be really picky the bar staff lacked experience and I did not feel confident they always knew what they were doing.

I enjoyed the location, ease of parking and the freedom to come and go as I please. The single room was comfortable with good facilities. The inclusive breakfast was excellent and sufficient to satisfy any appetite and the restaurants and bar had a splendid view of the sea and beach. The staff were friendly and cooperative at all levels. The indoor spa and outdoor heated swimming pool were good. I left the Haven feeling that I had enjoyed my stay and would like to come again. The dinner for the evening was well cooked and presented but I felt that the portions were much too small.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Haven, the location is fabulous and the swimming pool and spa facilities a real bonus. The staff were lovely and the restaurant food was very good. The bar food prices are a little expensive but the food is nice. The room was excellent and very clean. The bedroom and the corridors were very hot, even with the windows open the room was still too warm.
