The standards were maintained throughout our stay, any requests were met right away. I have already told friends when ever visiting the surrounding area for example Bath, Wells, etc the Inn is ideally situated.I Found you were treated like family to which all the staff should be congratulated for their friendliness and kindness. The live entertainment was also excellent Fri thro SunThe.Even the food was of a very good high standard. I do believe that in the not too distant future the Inn will be extended this I am sure will enhance what is already there I wish them good luck in this venture. We could find nothing to dislike.

The hotel was close to the Bath and West show ground, which is where we were going. There was a very large car park. The staff were very friendly. The hotel was also close to Shepton Mallet. The room in the hotel could do with a deep clean there were cobwebs on the ceiling and the shower wasnt as clean as it should be. The layout could have been better, when you entered the room there was a big double wardrobe which could have been put in the alcove in the far right of the room, this would give a better entrance to the room. Although the food wasnt horrible it was tasteless .

30 minute wait for our rooms even at 5 o'clock. After we checked in we were told no food would be available. In the morning we were told no cooked breakfast was available because They had no gas. I would not recommend this pub at all.

The location to the sw and Bath show ground was the reason for choice. Relaxed Quirky layout and easy to find. Menu was a piece of torn paper kept at till on which the staff ticked off meals remaining as they were ordered. Room was very cramped, plenty of drawers but no hanging space for clothes. Virtually unable to use the dressing table mirror. Large double bed, no mattress protector in place. An attempt to clean bathroom had been left obvious but there were bleach rings around taps and under side of toilet seat had previous occupants usage evident! On last night of stay only meal available was carvery due to large car rally, and breakfast next morn was without eggs (run out) and tea was served in paper cups to paying guests.

I did'nt like anything this time as it had changed owners , the food was terrable and we got charged twice tho we did manage to get a refund, breakfast was like something from a truck stop and the staff had difficulty smiling, such a shame as first year I went it was good ,I wont be going back.. The only good thing it was close to the Shepton Mallet show ground.

We liked the convenience of the location and the food which was excellent. The staff were very pleasant and chatty and also helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay for 2 nights. One small criticism that there wasn't a wardrobe to hang up clothes. The room was a little small but we did take the last one available! But we would stay there again.

In the right place, and served us well despite being at the end of a long day serving 180+ covers for Mothering Sunday! And the breakfast was good. Would have like a more relaxing place to sit close to the fire

Very friendly staff, comfortable bed. Broken shower, broken loo seat and stained toilet, no soap provided. Loud music (recorded) in evening so ate elsewhere. In fairness, new managers had been there for less than a week and did their best to help.

Excellent free parking, warm welcome, friendly staff, warm clean newly decorated and furnished room (room 9), comfortable bed, good en suite facility. From outside you would not expect the quality that you then find. I know the breakfast to be good.
