The standards were maintained throughout our stay, any requests were met right away. I have already told friends when ever visiting the surrounding area for example Bath, Wells, etc the Inn is ideally situated.I Found you were treated like family to which all the staff should be congratulated for their friendliness and kindness. The live entertainment was also excellent Fri thro SunThe.Even the food was of a very good high standard. I do believe that in the not too distant future the Inn will be extended this I am sure will enhance what is already there I wish them good luck in this venture. We could find nothing to dislike.

A warm welcome from the owner & a speedy check in to our room. The room was very clean & tidy! Looks like it has been refurbished recently. The Highwayman was very well signposted from the main roads so extremely easy to find.

Staff, facilities homely and typical Somerset. Breakfast fresh & wholesome and convenient opening hours. Great contribution to an excellent weekend visiting friends in the area. No biscuits with the tea making facilities- no problem.

Friendly staff and good and efficient breakfast service. No pressure on the shower. In 4 days towels were never changed to clean ones. Although carpet was cleaned every day, there was a thick layer of dust on the spokes of the chairs. Duvet cover was always put on straight, but sheet was still rumpled from night before.

I found the managers very helpful and friendly and immediately resolved any problems we had. My room was well appointed and the ensuite shower room reasonably large. I would have liked brown bread for breakfast but was told by the manager that the owner only supplied white.

I live and work in the Abu Dhabi and return back to the uk if, and when I can and I always stay @ the Highwayman when I go to Somerset. The Staff are cheery, friendly and the Inn is clean and comfortable and ticks all the right boxes for Me. I would highly recommend the Inn and its local Cider(s) to anyone.
