good position of hotel for local amenities.
hotel needs total facelift.
Lovely old building, ruined by development over the years The food in the bar was awful. Sent one plate back because it was cold. Ended up in Macdonalds
Good location in the middle of town. Friendly staff. Good sized room with a bath.
The parking was a bit tight but there was room in the hotels overflow car park at a nearby location.
staff very helpfull bed comfortable
bathroom a bit tacky noise from car park early morning parking a bit of a pain
Good location, free wifi, nice English breakfast. I recommend this hotel.
I prefer shower instead of bath and lift or help with bagadges. Rest was fine.
The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Decent tv that can be viewed from the bed (obvious but lots of hotels get this wrong). The breakfast was excellent my partner couldn't finish his full English and the chef made me an omelette (not on menu) which was lovely. In the centre of town which was perfect for our plans.
The building is in desperate need of updating internally and external maintenance is also required. Whilst most staff were good the night porter left a lot to be desired. We arrived back from dinner with friends to find the bar shut. He informed us that it closed at 11pm. We pointed to the clock behind him which showed the time as 10.55pm he then said if bar was quiet it closed at 10.30pm. He directed us to a pub down the road. The following morning we found a drinks menu tucked behind the mirror in our room which stated that drinks could be ordered from the night porter for delivery to our room. Perhaps someone should tell the night porter that!
Room very nice and staff very helpful
Went for a couple of pints in the bar few locals very drunk and loud don't feel comfortable
Situated in the heart of the town, the hotel location was ideal for my purpose. Friendly staff. Good breakfast with plenty of options.
The small enclosed car park at the rear was a bit of a nightmare, due in part to the somewhat careless and selfish parking of the other vehicles already there. The sign indicating the turning off the one-way system to access the car park could be more prominent.
Location, cleanliness of room & very welcoming staff - who could not do enough to minimise inconvenience of flooded kitchen!
Good breakfast. Comfy bed, room was fine. Good 1 nights stay.
Hotel is tired, a few pound is needed on it. I bet it was a lovely hotel in its day.
Receptionist was friendly, and free wifi, not a lot else to say that was positive
Carpark is a joke, room for 6 cars at a push, the food in the Mexican bar/grill was dull/bland, didn't bother with breakfast even though it was included, on account of the evening meal ! The hotel is tired and a bit run down to be honest.
The restaurant was closed on the sunday we arrived.it was advertised in the room literature. We weren't told when we booked in and after travelling 250 miles had to find somewhere to eat on a wet and windy Wellingborough at 7.00pm on a sunday night. Not good.
A very nice historical building that offers a pleasant change from the normal bland of a travel lodge or premier inn. Very friendly staff. Enjoyed my 7 night stay there.
View of XMAS lights from our window.
Very small car park.
Staff extremely helpful , perfect location , bed and bedding very comfortable .
Does need some redecorating
We were visiting Wellingborough as a group. We chose the Hind Hotel for its location. It was clean and staff were excellent. Had a very enjoyable time. Will visit again.
Friendly Staff, very helpful
Decor was a little bit tired
staff great very helpfull
Outstanding value for money, right in the town center. Very friendly helpful staff. Our stay made for a very enjoyable weekend.
Limited choice of menu for evening meal Mexican, Mexican or Mexican.
Very friendly staff, great wi fi, excellent breakfast!
Friendly and courteous staff, night porter service allowing for late arrivals, excellent breakfast, easy booking. I stay here quite often.
Nothing to dislike. The hotel is old and corridors and stairs look a bit tired but these will no doubt be dealt with in due course.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Great location. Brilliant breakfasts.
Very centrally located, good Wi-Fi, comfy bed,
My quality of sleep was poor as in the rooms either side and above me were obviously for the same group of selfish people who woke me up upon returning to their rooms at 1230am and talking in loud voices outside my room, banging doors and then for the next 2 hours proceeded to go upstairs then back down knocking on their doors and generally being completely selfish and noisy.
Stairs dirty. Hotel tired looking.
The location of the hotel was perfect, right next to swanspool gardens. The rooms although in the courtyard were lovely.
The bed was most uncomfortable. We couldn't get a late drink even as residents. One or two items of tableware was chipped.
