Just off the A45/A46/A509, less than 1.5 miles (2.5 km) from the town centre and just 2 miles (3 km) from Wellingborough railway station, the hotel offers free parking and great-value en suite rooms.

The restaurant was closed on the sunday we arrived.it was advertised in the room literature. We weren't told when we booked in and after travelling 250 miles had to find somewhere to eat on a wet and windy Wellingborough at 7.00pm on a sunday night. Not good.
A very nice historical building that offers a pleasant change from the normal bland of a travel lodge or premier inn. Very friendly staff. Enjoyed my 7 night stay there.
View of XMAS lights from our window.
Very small car park.
Staff extremely helpful , perfect location , bed and bedding very comfortable .
Does need some redecorating
We were visiting Wellingborough as a group. We chose the Hind Hotel for its location. It was clean and staff were excellent. Had a very enjoyable time. Will visit again.
Friendly Staff, very helpful
Decor was a little bit tired
staff great very helpfull
Outstanding value for money, right in the town center. Very friendly helpful staff. Our stay made for a very enjoyable weekend.
Limited choice of menu for evening meal Mexican, Mexican or Mexican.
Very friendly staff, great wi fi, excellent breakfast!
Friendly and courteous staff, night porter service allowing for late arrivals, excellent breakfast, easy booking. I stay here quite often.
Nothing to dislike. The hotel is old and corridors and stairs look a bit tired but these will no doubt be dealt with in due course.
Very helpful and friendly staff. Great location. Brilliant breakfasts.
Very centrally located, good Wi-Fi, comfy bed,
My quality of sleep was poor as in the rooms either side and above me were obviously for the same group of selfish people who woke me up upon returning to their rooms at 1230am and talking in loud voices outside my room, banging doors and then for the next 2 hours proceeded to go upstairs then back down knocking on their doors and generally being completely selfish and noisy.
Stairs dirty. Hotel tired looking.
The location of the hotel was perfect, right next to swanspool gardens. The rooms although in the courtyard were lovely.
The bed was most uncomfortable. We couldn't get a late drink even as residents. One or two items of tableware was chipped.
The breakfast was very good. The room was spacious and well equipped. The overall cleanliness of the room and bed linen was very good.
The bathroom needs total renovation although functional. The single glazed windows need replacing as we woke up feeling cold during the night.
Could do with a make over
Excellent breakfast, attentive and helpful staff. Great Mexican restaurant with delicious food.
The corridors, (smelly and dank), the decor (dated and worn) the parking ( tight and very difficult)
Good facilities in an interesting old building Well located in the centre of Wellingborough Friendly Staff
Use of energy saving lightbulbs making everywhere gloomy
Staff tried her best
My booking had mysteriously disappeared, more worrying was the reason why, turned out the previous occupant had wet the bed. High class NOT.
Being confronted at breakfast in quite an abrupt manner regarding late check out, which had been pre-arranged and checked with another member of staff on arrival. It made quite an unpleasant end to our stay, and meant we missed saying goodbye to many of our friends. The member of staff did apologise in the end, but it was rather unpleasant at the time.
location is very central in Wellingborough. Reception staff very friendly.
The hotel has seen much bettre days. Breakfast was haphazard. no juice. no milk until we asked. It wasn't very smooth running at all.
Room was quite large, clean and comfortable. All equipment was functioning. Staff were pleasant. Hotel has period character.
Wifi key was not provided. Limited parking on-site, but it is available nearby.
It's an historical site
In need of a refresh
Found a decent Indian restaurant about a mile away. Drank there until we could face returning.
Room smelt musty Car parking a joke Hotel is a warren of old dirty corridors and steps Wifi was very slow
The staff were friendly.
Advertised as parking available but you could only fit about 7 cars in total in a small courtyard. So had to park round the back and some guests had parked as advised at rear of hotel and in the morning found they had all been ticketed. It's a beautiful old build building but is let down extremely by its lack of upkeep in presentation. Smells. Shower curtain placed so near to shower that it's constantly touching you when showering. Found hairs in sink bowl on arrival. Ice bucket which came to room had hole in so had leaked all over floor and table. Just made an overall surprise birthday present seem very cheap and dirty. Found it not at all as advertised
