It was cheap We stayed at this hotel as it 'claims' to be close to Silverstone race track when in reality it is actually a 45 minute drive away. Also the pillows were so thin you would have needed 3 to make 1 normal pillow! |

not a lot really, we were given a room in the attic which was not only too small - it was so hot with no ventilation and it needed a good makeover, very dissapointing, needless to say we changed rooms to ground floor which was better. Didn't like the location right on the high street, and not much parking, even though we managed to get a space you needed to be a trick driver to get out again, sorry not for us. |

The room was clean and the staff tried to help all they could There was only 5 car park space for a 34 room hotel and it was not a buffet breakfast 1 sausage 1 bacon 1 egg etc but not staff fault. Also there was a loud disco on till 2am great when you have a early start was glad to leave for some peace and quite in my car. |

Friendly staff, nice bar in the evening, secure parking and breakfast was excellent. The shower could be more powerful, but this is nit picking |

Staff were helpful and friendly, the breakfast was very good, we ate our evening meal out, so can't comment on that. Overall it was better than I was expecting given other reviews I have read. The bed was not very comfortable for my wife who woke up with backache, although I slept fine! It was very hard to control the temperature of the shower, (boiling hot or freezing cold!) Also, the bedroom could do with redecoration as it a bit dated and showing its age. But these are minor niggles (apart from the bed) and would not put me off staying again. |

The location is excellent in the center of the town. It is good value for the money. The staff are friendly. The mattress was lumpy. The hotel certainly needs updated to be comfortable. |

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Bed was extremely comfortable and very clean. Sold as recently refurbished, damp spots in the bathroom and black marks around the bath said not. |

Convenient location, friendly staff, good room service and very quick service of cooked breakfast in the restaurant. Decoration of some of the corridors and common areas was rather worn, which didn't give a good first impression. Decor in room was fine, but temperature was a little cool. |

It was convenient for the venue of the function I was attending I was fulfilling a boyhood (1950s) ambition to stay in the hotel notwithstanding the bad reviews available on the Internet. The general decor and ambience of the place fell short of my expectations. I did not ike having to stand for some minutes on a rainy and somewhat intimidating Saturday night waiting for the night porter to open the door. The car park is miniscule and totally inadequate . |
