The room was a good size and very comfortable with a large flat screen tv and a mini bar which did not charge rip off prices. Bathoom was a good size, the food was good. I arrived well before check in time but they let me check in early without any problems |

Friendy and clean hotel. Especially as it was close to Barrington Court where we celebrating a family members birthday. Great breakfast with good friendly service. Rooms a bit bland - a vase of flowers would have made it more welcoming perhaps. |

We are very impressed with the hotel. The staff were friendly & helpful. The food is of a high standard and great value. The rooms are very comfortable with really lovely en-suites. Definately recommend this hotel - its brill. Although the hotel information states room service is available all day currently this is not the case. So if you want a snack before the restaurant opens in the evening you have to go else where. The hotel is really missing out on this and should offer some food for guests throughout the day. |

Nice intimate restaurant with good food served quickly. The pub did not stay open all day and therefore the only public areas to sit were the benches outside your room or a very small narrow public lounge located in between some of the rooms which felt very restrictive and was very stuffy with no views of the gardens. |

The staff were excellent, especially as we arrived early. They were friendly, efficient and very helpful. Without our requesting this, they gave us an automatic upgrade to a suite from a luxury double. The room (suite) was incredibly spacious and comfortable with very good facilities including our own patio area and free wi-fi. The food was very good. Not dislike - no. However, the restuarant area is rather cramped and also rather dark. It would benefit fom more (and more atmospheric, softer) lighting and I feel that there are too many 'covers' for a relatively small space. |

I liked the size of the room,and the rural location, but particularly the restaurant. The food and selection of wine was excellent The rooms were hot, even with the fan unit provided. For the price there was a lack of facilities compared with similar priced hotels. Towels were not changed when placed where requested, so we had to use wet towels in the unusually hot weather. |

Excellent value (at a price we normally pay for basic bed and breakfast) - large bright, clean, quiet room with king size comfortable bed and double patio doors to patio, patio table and lawn. Tasty breakfast in pleasant setting and friendly staff. Restaurant meal was excellent quality with delicious wine. Would have liked a little table to put the kettle and tea making things on. |

Good location, plenty of parking, clean looking from outside and inside. Good breakfast and dinner,nice and friendly staff Need better satelite tv system, could only get cnn from 7 pm till midnite only and no movie channels. |

Nice room overlooking garden.No noise from next door, and a sofa so we could both sit down--so many hotels only provide one chair so someone has to sit on the bed. Restaurant food was very good. No fruit for breakfast. Menu offered cereal or fruit, but as I never have a cooked breakfast, I expect grapefruit, prunes, apricots, bananas etc to be offered with cereal. This is unusual at this class of hotel. |
