Breakfast the 1st morning they bought out burnt toast.also when we asked for water it came in a teapot....had to ask for a jug as water was Brown from the tea.asked for another sheet for cot,got a duvet cover lol.think there was a language problem.n
good food friendly staff clean rooms.
the weather the decor needs an uplift.
Location overlooking Douglas bay Breakfast Some staff friendly Parking no problem
Hotel could be cleaner basic task's not being done cleaning skirting boards ,window ledges, chipped paint work, no sign of on going maintenance in public areas everything a bit tired, more attention and detail when cleaning bathroom required, build up of mould around shower and bath area we sprayed with bleach and all was removed very easy ? room was good size but everything dated dis-coloured very old Tandy phone in room, Old sash windows rattled when windy, The hotel could of appeared a lot better with some basic housekeeping items being completed and a handyman with a pot of paint.
Nice and clean, good breakfast, and a lovely night porter who was very knowledgeable, and entertaining
Staff very helpful
Although I was connected easily to wi-fi I had no internet access
Room looking at brick wall
Room was small and difficult to move around in when you are older
The location on the sea front.
Being woken up by house keeping at 07.50 when we only arrived at midnight. Being overcharged, the noise of other residence at 5am. Breakfast was very poor and our family were unable to sit together. Need I go on.
No hot water, no wifi
Good location,very clean,good breakfast
VERY VERY noisy party on Friday.Impossible for anyone on the first floor to sleep.
The room was spacious nice beds , Breakfast was excellent .
Nothing to dislike
It's was and ok place to stay. Unfortunately my pillows smelt of greasy hair and the dust extremely built up on the skirting boards which was off putting. Breakfast only lasted an hour which when on a weekend break we hoped for a lie in and didn't want to have breakfast 8.30 till 9.30 on a Sunday. Staff were very friendly.

Good view from our room, good breakfast, clean
Certain amount of noise from the street (our room was at the front with old fashioned single glazing), but this didn't result in any lost sleep.
The rooms were clean
The staff weren't very friendly & the food was quite poor. Bad location as it was a 2 mile walk into town centre. Definley for older people as we where the youngest in it & there weren't any other kids staying there.
Great views, reasonable price. Beds were comfy in a nice sized family room.
No wifi on 5th floor. Shower pressure poor.
Great value for money. Comfortable room, clean and well-maintained. Very helpful staff e.g. providing extra tea/milk and providing local knowledge. Coped well with large coach parties - service to the smaller group did not suffer at all. Would recommend.
Views are amazing
Not much variety on breakfast menu
The hotel was on the promenade. The staff were lovely and hotel had a lovely friendly atmosphere. We felt very comfortable there. There were two excellent entertainers in the down stairs bar and that was really enjoyable and a great surprise. The room was spotless and beds very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. Plenty of hot water and towels.
Our room was at the back. I was disappointed I had not a view of the sea, but I hadn't requested one either. Dinner on first night was covered in gravy which I don't like but my husband and son didn't mind. I think it would be better if it was optional served in a separate gravy jug.
Friendly staff. Very good breakfast. Nice room with a very good seaview.great location. Parking no problem. Very good value for money.
Did not stay long enough.
Wifi in all areas Good choice of breakfast Convenient for busses, trams Quiet Easy walking into Town
Staff not always attentive at breakfast No hot chocolate or biscuits for children in rooms Evening meal not available on request
Great Location. Friendly Staff
A bit dated
Good location for beach and facilities. Dogs allowed to stay. Room was fine and clean. Staff very nice and helpful.
No car parking. Breakfast was a bit small.
