Clean, tidy, free from stale odours that some hotels have. A decent breakfast with quick service; indeed all staff were polite & efficient. The bedroom & en suite was clean, as was the bed linen. There was a general feeling of cleanliness, which was welcome. It was in a good position, with excellent sea views - room location permitting! A few easily rectified defects in the rooms, marred an otherwise very enjoyable stay. Some rooms were cold due to inefficent raditors (a quick bleed would have solved the problem) coupled with ill fitted double-glazing units in some rooms. There seemed to be issues with water pressure & water availability: this was sporadic & may have been due to numbers staying & the demand for water? A little more attention to detail would have helped make the stay even better that it was. |

Staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean and a good size. Breakfast was varied. Loved the Manx kippers. Value for money. |

On arival receptionist was charming as she was during the whole of our stay. Bedroom needed decoration. Bathroom door looked as though I had fitted it. Hot water was "hitty, missy" |

Consistent professionalism and friendliness of the staff from management through to all staff. Where the Hotel provided somthing such as breakfast or the bar it did so very well consistently. Good value for money. |

The staff was lovely and really helpful! Beautiful room that looked out on to the bay. The location was on the beautiful promenade but far from busses that we needed to take. |

The location was good right by the sea and I had a lovely sea view from my room. I was quite disappointed with the hotel in general. There was damp on the walls, the shower was not very strong. At breakfast I was given milk that had gone off and the scrambled egg on toast tasted like cardboard. The menu for the evening meals was fairly varied but for the quality of the food I thought it was quite expensive. The scallops were lovely though. For what it was I thought the hotel in general was really quite expensive. |

The hotel was in a convenient location and was reasonably priced The meal we had in the Bistro was poorly presented, poorly cooked and over priced.The decor is very dated which doesn't help it to appear clean. The showers in both of the rooms we had were difficult to control and had extremely low water pressure. I could hear the Saturday night disco in my room even though I was on the 5th floor. |

The bedrooms were a fair size and furbished with the essentials, the hotel staff were polite even when ariving home at 3am. Sadly i didnt get chance to try the breakfast as 9am was not seen that weekend. |

The hotel rooms were newly refurbished to a good standard. The room was comfortably and adequately equipped. The public rooms looked 'tired' and contrasted badly with the bedrooms. Local parking was a problem. |

the view from the bedroom window was incredible ( and even when sitting on the toilet you had a wonderful view of the road and beach and bay !!) due to the number and aspect of the windows the room was cold and we needed to ask for a heater as the radiators did ot give enought heat |
