Waschbecken mit separaten Wasser Ihnen für kaltes und warmes Wasser sind im 21. Jahrhundert nicht mehr zumutbar. Läuft das Wasser warm verbrennt man sich die Hände. Das Hotel ist alt und bräuchte eine gründliche Renovierung. Für die Leistungen ist der Preis um mindestens 50 % zu hoch.

Ii liked the location and layout of the hotel

I thought the interior needed redecorating & the restaurant food was nothing like the image portrayed on the website. Very disappointing.

Receptionists , one on arrival and another in morning were very professional and helpful. Barman speeded up our children's bar snack orders because of their age and again very helpful. Room very good with adjoining room for children and very good value. Returned for Lunch the following day for 7 as breakfast and bar snacks were nice - 2 waitresses gave great service and very friendly .

Lunch for 7 people - carvery was not on therefore roast dinners ordered were plated. Generally not a problem but the Turkey , stuffing and roast potatoes tasted like they had been reheated a number of times! I was visiting between Christmas and new year therefore maybe there was a lot if leftovers - understandable at home but not when you are paying for it , in my opinion.

We attended for a wedding nearby and stayed 4 nights in total

We found the Imperial Hotel comfortable.

I felt at times that you were short staffed. We had to wait a long time for our meals on both nights that we had dinner. We realise that you had parties in on both nights but that should not have affected service for other customers. I thought that the breakfasts were over priced. The fried eggs were rubbery and the food was a little too cool in spite of the hot plate serving area. The selection of fruit at breakfast was very good.

For Business Users it was a pleasant stay providing all of the facilities required to work remotely, excellent food, great location and most importantly friendly and helpful staff.

Very nice rooms (209 and also included 208) but will be even better when refurbished, particularly the toilet!! Very nice staff---very helpful. The whole hotel is quite grand.

Breakfast payment of £15.50 cannot be recommended.There are others like us who only have cereal and fruit!! Breakfast in the Kazzbar only offers a packet of cereal. Toast was refused as only one member of staff was on duty!!
