Nice and clean, fantastic breakfeast, nice staff, easy parking, good value. Room 407,very hot room, would not recommend to stay in that room in the summer. Apart from that, very nice indeed, and would not hesitate to stay at the hotel again, and hopefully will be back in June for my birthday.

They were accommodating when we needed a room to change into before the wedding we were attending. The bathroom was dated with bad grouting and a dirty sink. The room was too hot for us and we had to open the window, unfortunately we could then hear the building works going on at the rear of the car park we were overlooking.

Conveniently located in relation to local amenities Our room in particular the toilet and shower area were not clean. This was immediately notified to reception but very little improvement was made despite our representations. We had previously stayed in this hotel and found to have been most satisfactory, however this visit was most disappointing in this regard.

Receptionists , one on arrival and another in morning were very professional and helpful. Barman speeded up our children's bar snack orders because of their age and again very helpful. Room very good with adjoining room for children and very good value. Returned for Lunch the following day for 7 as breakfast and bar snacks were nice - 2 waitresses gave great service and very friendly . Lunch for 7 people - carvery was not on therefore roast dinners ordered were plated. Generally not a problem but the Turkey , stuffing and roast potatoes tasted like they had been reheated a number of times! I was visiting between Christmas and new year therefore maybe there was a lot if leftovers - understandable at home but not when you are paying for it , in my opinion.

Very nice rooms (209 and also included 208) but will be even better when refurbished, particularly the toilet!! Very nice staff---very helpful. The whole hotel is quite grand. Breakfast payment of £15.50 cannot be recommended. There are others like us who only have cereal and fruit!! Breakfast in the Kazzbar only offers a packet of cereal. Toast was refused as only one member of staff was on duty!!

First evening meal. Pool. Helpful receeption staff. Chef did niot turn up first morning - we could not order fish and second evening meal was poor.(we waited one hour!) No-one was supervising staff in restaurant, which meant poor service E.G. toast, coffee, tea butter - staff had to be prompted - at least six light bulbs needed changing. Room (408) was too warm and was very small.
