The staff were friendly, location is central and walking distance from everything in Brighton worth visiting and the room was big. The beds and bedding were not very comfortable and the mattresses were old and worn. The shower was also uncomfortable and inside the bath. |

The hotel is comfortable and clean, and easy to find. An older style with a bit of faded grandeur. It was about half an hour on foot from Brighton itself, but walkable along the lively street a block up from the seafront. Breakfast was good, staff helpful. I found a nearby parking spot easily, which cost only £2 till 10 o'clock. There were lots of restaurants ten minutes away on foot in Hove. A good address. No, it was fine. |

It is in a good location for my conference, just a 20 min walk, and excellent value considering how close to the city centre it is. I had free wireless in my room which was excellent but I get the impression not all rooms have it and some are charged. I hope the free wireless is being expanded.Parking is a pain. |

The Hotel was very efficient. Excellent breakfast. Reasonably quiet at night. Very enjoyable stay and will probably use it again in the future. |

Staff were friendly and the room was fine, location good and price competitive for Brighton This hotel has much better reviews than others that are similarly priced. I thought it earned these good reviews and would stay again. |

Clean, helpful staff - didnt eat there so cant comment on food. Walking distance of shops, bars, restaurants in Hove. Shame it doesnt have its own parking or reserved spaces - we parked nearby but walked in the evening as were told we would probably not be able to park nearby later on (was Saturday evening) |

Friendly staff, Comfortable rooms and food excellent value for money. Not hotels fault but guests in room above and behind us were very noisy and obviously enjoying some 'couples' time. Could not sleep a wink! |

Would stay for the location but was expensive seeing that no breakfast was included. Would recommend for the location. There were generators or heating system of some sort that went on at 6 am that were so noisy made it very difficult to sleep and that continued through the morning. |

The only thing I liked about the hotel was that my room was not near the main corridor, if it was I would have checked out as at 3am In the morning, the hotel is like a bus station. The hotel was nowhere near Brighton town centre, and also the website discussed sea views, which were nowhere to be seen. The paint in the bathroom chipped off in your hands, the girl on reception was lovely when I checked in, however the night staff on reception need a bit of training. |

The en-suite single rooms were comparable in price to twin rooms and were spacious and clean. Staff were really pleasant and helpful. |

very impressed with the comfortable, big double room that we had and the prices in the bar/restaurant for food and drink were very reasonable. Nicely decorated lounge/bar and restaurant. |

Reasonable proximity to Brighton, only about 15 mins walk along the seafront. Parking available with good value permit (£4 per day). Hotel maybe a little outdated and rough around the edges if you look closely but otherwise room was clean and value for money. Upgraded to Junior Suite. |

Reception and room service staff were very polite and helpful. The breakfast was very good, if a little pricey Other guests were inconsiderate as regards late night noise. On both nights I was disturbed by loud conversations in the corridor outside my room at 2.00 a.m. On the second night I had to ask reception to get my next door neighbour to turn off his TV set AT 3.00 A M !!! Maybe a notice should be placed in the room information brochure to remind guests to be more considerate at night. |

The receptionist remembered me from a previous visit and had to hand the item we had inadvertantly left, The staff are obviously multinational and therefore multilingual but their command of English is poor, in some instances very poor. Certain items in our room were lacking, not working; these were pointed out to staff. |
